Personally, at launch? No. First iterations are almost always bonked at release. I will wait for a slim version for the PS5.
Xbox however, lol. Already have a decent PC.

nah nah, the current ones.
Hmmm... Probably not. Games don't run particularly well on PS4.
And if you have a PC you probably don't need an Xbox.
Although if there's a specific game you want to play on PS4 and you don't want to wait to see if it runs better on PS5 then go for it I guess.
Stick with PC, subscribe to Uplay, Origin, and Gamepass.
You can always do what I did and wait until the generation is 3-4 years old, buy a console for <200 dollars, and then play the three or four exclusives you actually should play.
The "high end" consoles are for the console fans, not for people looking to dip their toes into console gaming.
Super Mighty XSX Tower of Power with Phenom, Halo: Infinite 4K 60 fps at launch fur chur. :D
Anything else is a big meh. :P
I would say the Switch is worth getting. You are missing almost nothing on Xbox One if you already have a gaming PC. The PS4 is probably also going to be worth picking up at the price point you posted. God of War and Bloodborne are great. I also enjoyed Uncharted 4 and Spiderman.
