• Apparently after news broke and some websites and youtube parading this rumors as "insider" knowledge (aka bullshit they made up), Dusk Golem the Resetera insider came clean that he only did it due to overwhelming negative reception on Xbox Series X (or as I prefer to call it, Craig).
• Also sacked as mods. Idk how Resetera works.
• Too bad, should have continued with the rumors, spice up the launch with some good old fanwars

This happened a while ago. Better recent news is that Devs are finding it hard to scale to old gen, hence they hate cross gen currently.

Actually, it wasn't fake. He admitted to sharing the info for the wrong reasons but maintains it is true.

The RE8 trailer also ran at like 15fps so there's credence in his statement but it's ultimately meaningless because the game is at least 6 months away from launch and it's almost guaranteed to hit 4K/30 by then.

The problem with the way he deliver the message is that he wanted to make seen like it was multiple developers,having a early game run poorly means nothing even more coming from Capcom they aren't know for the most polished games.

Is the fact that he took that one game and try to apply it and claim multiple developers told him,when in reality it wasn't that way.

Hell there should not be an argument about the xbox series X running 4k while on PS5 runs a little lower in the pixel side or frame side because it has more power.

Also the way he referred to it as fake 4k was totally inflammatory DLSS is also fake native resolution and i don't see anyone say that,it was just all around inflammatory.

There is a huge media bullshit going on for months against the PS5,according to suppose media leaks.

The PS5 will be expensive,even that the article in question tagged Nand flash and DRAM price hikes,as if the xbox series X didn't have DRAM and Nand flash,in fact the series X has more nand flash as its ssd is bigger size,but some how that will not affect the xbox only the PS.

The PS5 will over heat,this is based on GPU speed and the PS4 Pro which has nothing what so ever to do with the tech inside the PS5,some how the xbox will not with a much bigger GPU and faster CPU.

The PS5 will have problems with 4k and even 1080p which is lol worthy.

RE8 was at 4k/30 during PS5 event. Suddenly, PS5 is in Lockhart level, even worse maybe. Struggling at 1080p/60, while XSX is fine at 4k/60 in RE8. LOL

Devs will always label a trailer at 4k/30/60. Same with UE5 tech demo. It was labeled 1440p/30. Tech analysis later is other thing.

You lot really should stop believing insider crap.

We don't know all the details, he didn't explain himself very well. What if R8 has graphics and performce modes? That could mean that it is hitting 4k @30fps in the graphics mode but for some reason is struggling with the 1080p 60 fps in the performance mode. Maybe something to do with the variable CPU and GPU frequencies because it's something new for developers.

Maybe all of that is wrong and he just meant it's having trouble hitting 4k @60 fps and accidentally said 1080p60. It's all speculation because he wasn't very descriptive. What we do know for sure is that the PS5 is struggling bad and will be left behind graphically next gen.
