Anyone remember that bad PC port of Saints Row 2? Well, Volition has an announcement on that.

Good that they are fixing it, but I never cared for the series. Way too ridiculous for me.

I was never a fan of SR, but that's really cool that the dev is updating the game now they've found the original code.

Btw this would make for a wonderful Switch port. I mean I always hate ports but game quite unique for the system as it really doesnt have GTA clone other than SR3.

I'd love to play a full remake of 2. It's still the best game of the series overall. The others kind of went in a strange direction after that, even though they were still playable.

Better late then never I always find it interesting when a old game gets a patch GTA 4 on PC got a patch in 2016.

I think GTA4's patch was actually to remove some of the music where the license had expired.

I wonder if this is for stadia as much as anything else?

Shadow of Mordor also got an update on linux yesterday which doubled the framerate (they switched from openGL to Vulkan).

Stadia runs on a linux backend as i understand it.

That's true but that was from last years update. The 2016 patch 1.0.8.0 fixed a nasty bug that I remember which made completing Out of Commission mission impossible when frame rate exceeds 60fps it also fixed some Vram issues ect..
