Anyone interested in the new Sony developed game Gamespot rated 3/10 called, The Tomorrow Children?

Sony has a new developed game they recently released called The Tomorrow Children. Scott Butterworth just reviewed it and scored it a 3/10. I know Sony fans enjoy a lot of Sony developed games, so i was wondering if any have played the game or if any had plans to play the game. You can check out the review below, its a fun read.

Just to be warned, the trailer looks extremely stupid and lacks appeal. I dont want to spoil anything, but its very cringe worthy. So if your not wanting to see such things, i advise turning away. We thought the Sony exclusive Godzilla and that Afro Samurai 2 game were the worst games of this gen, but this might be the icing on the cake.

ive seen gamplay and im still not sure what type of game this is.

I'm curious if the game just sucks or if No Man's Sky burned PS4 gamers out on the idea of mining resources for the next decade

to be fair, it is a free-to-play / pay-to-win style game and those don't typically have many people cheering for them... anyhow, it's free, shouldn't stop people from downloading it

anyhow, one less project to bog down Sony's Japan Studio, maybe they can get started on a new Siren game, or a consolized Patapon remastered anthology on PS4

Nope. I don't think anyone has even heard of this game until now. But the difference is, PS4 actually has good games to play while the Xbone720P doesn't.

Literally every exclusive that the Lems hyped this gem has flopped so hard. That's why they always make themselves look like clowns.

The lemmings continue to have nothing to play besides laughable flops and inferior multiplats.

Their Scorpio savior can't come soon enough. Because every single thing else that they hyped has failed miserably. Including the secret sauce, cloud, DX12 hype to blow smoke up people's asses.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go play my AAAA EXCLUSIVE (Perfect Score) Uncharted 4. Something the lemmings will NEVER have is a AAAA exclusive.

The superior Cows and Sheep both have a AAAA EXCLUSIVE .

I remember when this was shown at E3 2015.

Totally thought it released a while ago.

This game didn't have a hype thread like recore did which was hyped about an 8/10 and flopped at a 6.

@iandizion713: you mentioned Afto Samurai 2, but that game was stated for a X-1 release also but was cancelled due to the extreme low score and backlash the game got.

As for playing the game, Im gonna skip it since I wasn't impressed with the game when they showed it at E32015

@freedom01: Yeah, i didnt call that one exclusive, just that Sony allowed it to release on their platform. It was so bad that Steam had to remove it and refund gamers. And its rare for Steam to remove a game. Sony had to remove the game also.

Yeah, i watched the trailer and couldnt believe it. Even reading the review was hard, you could actually feel the reviewers pain and suffering.

@iandizion713: I wouldn't blame Sony for the game being released on their platform since they cannot know if the game from a third party devs is going to be good or bad.

But for Tomorrow Children, while no one was hyped for the game, is a disappointment. At least its a free to play game, sadly at the same time with a pay 2 win in it

@freedom01: They can if they test them like Nintendo does. No game gets released on a Nintendo device without getting tested by Nintendo.

@freedom01: I hope so too. We were talking about NX maybe sneaking some of them abundant Japanese studios that develop in Japan for Vita and PS4 that dont meet good sales. Hoping Nintendo might accept some.

Not sure how competitive the mobile industry is over there, but hoping might encourage some to develop for Nintendo. NX might be in a good spot due to game sales on Microsoft, PC, and Sony.

@drummerdave9099: Yeah, but that one had a fun online mode. Same as Federation Force, Tri-force Heroes, and Mario Tennis. They took major hits for lacking in single player, but majority actually loved the multiplayer modes.

When you have a console with free online, fun multiplayer games are amazing. Always have to look at the bright side. Thats why even if game gets bad score, i read if it still has something to offer. You never know the hidden gems some games have.

I thought this game was gonna be good. Had a bit of hype behind it back when it got announced, but then it just disappeared.

Think this game was hyped for it's graphics, not for as a game.

Yea it's all in fun. Neither of us wan't these games to actually fail. As a gamer I wanted Recore succeed. Ofcourse there are people who actually take this s*** seriously and pay 300-400 on a system to trash in forums. These people obviously need help.

Flop. But this is different from ReCore flopping for one major reason. The Tomorrow Children flopping does not hurt Sony in the least, as nobody was even looking forward to it. ReCore flopping, however, is a different story. This entire generation is a flop for MS; ReCore just continues the trend.

Everybody knows that the PS4 has higher standards. This is equivalent to an 8/10 in Xbone terms, which is ok. Maybe Sony is trying to lure lems to their console by showing stuff set to their lower standards. TLHBO
