Anyone hyped for Warhammer Vermintide 2

yea I'll be diving in tonight, seems like they've fleshed out the formula from the first game (aka the Left 4 Dead formula) nicely.

Nope, not really a fan of that series.

Huge fan of the first game, not yet done with it but it's day 1 for the sequel as soon as it's released on consoles.

It's like L4D, you don't really have to play the first because the second is an improved version and more fleshed out.

Never heard of this series before. But that trailer sold me on it. Looks like fun and the visuals are great.

Is it grindy though? I don't want Warframe or first person Diablo. I want L4D.

Well, I got the first one for free but I'm still more inclined to play the second one :p

It's just all around a much more improved game.

I think there's 13 maps, so when you're done with those on all difficulties, you only have grinding left to do.. But it has never felt very grindy to me. You don't have to grind to progress, I've gotten good loot in a steady pace without hunting for it. There is a "power level" on all items, and you need a certain amount to raise the difficulty. There are quite a lot of different types of weapons. You go up levels by playing and you have talent trees. There are 5 classes (characters) and 3 subclasses for each. It's like a fantasy L4D minus the PvP, with RPG elements and loot.

It's really fun with some friends. Beta was pretty buggy, but it's probably improved.

After spending a few hours with this game I must say it runs like butter on very high settings 1080p. AMD Ryzen 1600, GTX 1070. very well optimized. Teamwork is a must or you will die, even then it is rather hard. but soo good is the game I keep going in for more punishment.

I did not know there was a beta, so a lot of players have been playing the beta know what to do and are in a rush to level up there characters plus are very toxic to us newcomers. It is a shame they run off way ahead of you then freak out and call you retard for not blasting thru the level as fast as they want.

I wouldn't bother. The first is a bore. The 2nd one is a ton better from just the one match I played.

I've been working away from home so I've still got a lot of gaming to do in Kingdom Come but this is definitely going on the list.
