Anyone else think that both inFamous: Second Son and Titanfall look good and hope both of them do well?
I do and I do.
Titanfall has always looked fun and recently Infamous Second Son has been revealed to look like a juggernaut.
Sales for both are already dizzying even tho Infamous only has a fraction of the marketing that Titanfall has. Different games different audiences but both hopefully deliver what fans are looking for.
Am hoping Infamous does well, might get it if it gets good reviews. Didn't particularly like the Titanfall beta so I won't be getting it, so don't care much how it does.
How is the beta? I still haven't tried it since I don't own an Xbox One and still haven't made an account for Origin yet (wish the beta would just come to 360 so I could try it).
Some of my friends are going ape over this game and while at first I wasn't really interested (still not a day 1 for me), it looks more and more interesting as I see. Plus, friends to play with.
They both will simply because they are looking to be the best game available for each console that isn't on the other console.
Also they both look very good so far.
I hope Titanfall does well just as a big "**** you!" to Activision, but COD Whatever that will release this year will probably outsell lifetime sales of the entire life of the Titanfall franchise by itself.
I hope they both sell really well.
I hope Titanfall gets below a 9 here for the Lolz.
Besides that, no real interest in either as games.
Well, I'm a gamer, not a fanboy, so yes. I always enjoy when the industry releases top notch titles. Also, as someone who owns both the PS4 and the Xbox One, I want games to play on both. Titanfall and inFamous will be just that.
I hope Titanfall does well critically and commercially and inFamous does well commercially but flops critically, just to shut cows up.
They hype it like it's the second-coming, AAAA GOTG and yet it's predecessor scored a 7.5/10
Absolutely Dr!! Why wouldn't a gamer want more good games? If you don't own both of those consoles, maybe that would make you want to. I know I want a PS4 and already have an X1. Games, not console manufacturers
Titanfall is published by EA who had no reason not to go Multiplatform but decided to stick to Microsoft. It might end up being good but I hope it burns in hell.
As for Infamouse, if Radical didn't Shut down I wouldve said it can burn in hell too because Prototype wouldve mopped the floor with its face, so..... Why not...
I hope they both do well. They both look fun, just not sure I would buy either. I have enough computer games I need to finish already, I do not need to add Titanfall on top of it.
I want them both to succeed as well. What i do not want is having 20 me too arena mech shooters "inspired" by titanfall if it is indeed the runaway success it could potentially be; but, deep down inside i think that success will rekindle interest in a new 2142 (best bf game no lie) since mech shooters will be mainstream then (mechs were just a small but highly flaunted part of what made 2142 great.) New virtual on would rock too. I want infamous to do well enough to keep sucker punch healthy despite meaning more infamous. Ideally, sucker punch would be burnt out with the franchise after makin 3 back to back games and consider some new ip.
Titanfall = yes since it is an online game and community size is important.
Infamous = indifferent. Single player game and I just want it to be entertaining.
I am getting both. Titanfall digitally on launch day and Infamous used when I can find one below $40.

I played the beta on X1 and it really was awesome. I'm usually not too much into straight up shooters but Titanfall just does a lot of things differently. It has great maps designed for all sorts of traversal, good game modes that suit the universe, and great responsive shooter gameplay that merges twitch shooting(like cod) with tactical drawn out combat (like halo)
Overall it was just a positive experience, it's one of those games where cool things are almost constantly happening.
As for the OP's question, I am also hyping both. I wasn't a huge fan of the past infamous games but I'm down for an open world story experience, it also gives me a reason to play my PS4 :P
I'm absolutely buying both - favorite PS series and a game where the beta was absolutely stupendous.
Titanfall is going to do well no matter what. inFamous I'm sure will do okay for a console starved of amazing experiences.
I hope both do well. I just hope that the XBone version of Titanfall doesn't do well. I have no animosity towards the developer or the game itself and wouldn't want anything bad to happen to them. On the contrary, I think the XBone version doing poorly will be better for them in the long run because their publisher will be more willing to let them put their games on the PS4 in the future. This means more business for them.

So the same could be said for all the PS4 publishers that only put there games on the PS4. Sony had there chance to have Titanfall on the PS4, they didn't have the servers to handle Titanfall, MS did.

PS4 is a games console, not a TV remote with gaming functionality.
