Anybody knows why snake isn't anymore a character from SSBB?

I notticed recently that snake doesn't appear anymore in the characters section of smash bros dojo, but why is that?

I'm guessing he will not appear in the game, but if anyone knows the reason please tell me!

- Wario

- Zero Suit Samus

- Ike

- Mario, Link, Pikachu, Kirby, Fox, Samus, Zelda, Bowser, Donkey Kong and Yoshi

Stages:

- Battlefield, Delfino, Plaza, Yoshi Island, Lylat Cruise, Bridge of Eldin, Smashville, Rumble Falls, Skyworld, Castle Siege

Items:

- Goey Bomb, Cracker Launcher, Crates and Barrels, Banana peel, Bumper and Pitfall

They're still showing the E3 2006 video. Snak and Meta Knight are still in the game. If they weren't they would have edited the videos.blizzvalve
