No. As much as I like the 3D, I do not like the glasses. :/

No. It might fade away in 2-3 years, if not by then it should be @ a reasonable price to obtain one.

As long as it requires glasses, I probably won't get one.

I technically HAVE one (my Mitsubishi DLP is 3D ready), but making it actually 3D involves spending $400-500. With all the games currently coming out and the fact that I'm trying to buy a new computer (mine sucks) I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to get it set up, though I do plan to eventually.

No. I'm planning on getting Panasonic flagship 2D plasma. Same picture quality as the best TV on the market (their 3D flagship) but with out the 3D and almost half the price.

PROFIT :D  !

I have been looking. I read somewhere that killzone takes a graphics hit to do 3d. If I have to give up FPS or 1080 I might wait till the hardware can keep up.

I work for Capital One... We have a partnership with Panasonic. So they offer us Panasonic employee discounts. So I go there 42 GT25. Which is there mid-range 3D plasma for $650 shipped. Best decison I ever made. Didnt come with any glasses. Only there high end model comes with glasses. But the picture quality is beyond amazing. And I havent even tried the 3D yet... But $200 for glasses one pair for me and another for the girl... Its holding me back right now.

3DTV is going nowhere until they can find a way of making it work without the glasses. Channel surfing and taking those things on and off for 3D / non-3D broadcasts is lame. The glasses just aren't practical for everyday use. Besides no one actually wants 3D, its just been dreamed up by movie makers and tv companies as a way of fighting piracy and getting people for fork out for a new tv again.

I have never seen one in person. I would have to see how my eyes/head handled it. When I do normal 3d I get headaches and my eyes feel like **** afterwards.

I just bought a 42 in Panasonic 3D Plasma for $800 from Amazon ( being delivered on Monday). The glasses i had to buy separate for $150. I only need one pair. Then i also bought the Nvidia 3D Vision for my PC, for $170, which i will hook up to my new tv. So, no i can play Killzone 3 in 3D from my PS3 and Crysis 2 in 3D from my PC. Also, tons of games i already own are already 3D ready such as Batman AA and Battlefield BC2, so hopefully i will enjoy the technology.

I got contacts so I did not have to wear glasses anymore. I'm not going to buy a $2000-$4000 television just to wear glasses again.

I have one already there was no choice in the matter as mitshubisha dlp have all had 3d for years now and it was on sale for black friday for only $680 for a 60" and 3d capable? couldn't pass it up. I was able to finally to get pc games working in 3d with my pc with l4d 2 and dead rising 2 where the 2 games that really stood out but it seems to hurt my eyes after like an a hour of use. 3D is pretty cool and I'm defiantly looking forward to a glassless 3d solution in the future as i like the effect 3d can give to games with the added depth.

Have one.

I was up for a new TV anyway, so I got a 58" Samsung Plasma

GT5 and Wipeout HD look great in 3D and adds a new level to the games in my opinion (the depth really helps with judging corners and when to brake etc) I dont know if will add anything extra for games like FPS games KZ3 so we will wait and see. But I am very much looking forward to hooking my PC up for some Crysis 2 3D action.

3D movies I can take or leave. I am going to purchase a 3D still camera, just to see how 3D photos look on the TV.

I have one. I can't say it's FREAKING AMAZING, though it is pretty cool. People that say they are too expensive obviously do not bargain shop. No, you will not go into Wal Mart on a Tuesday and find a well priced high quality 3Dtv. Over Christmas I got a 50in Samsung C7000 3Dtv (55in same model was rated best tv of the year by yahoo), Samsung 3D Blu Ray player, and Shrek 1, 2, 3, 4, and 2 sets of glasses for $1265 with free 2 day shipping and 3 year warranty. Do the math, that is cheaper than walking into most stores and buying a 2d tv. Deals are there, you just have to not expect them to come to you.

i still have an SDTV in my living room and my next TV might be a 3DTV. it'll probably be a couple years before i get it though. i do most of my gaming on my 32" 1080p vizio LCD.
