I did numerous time. I was stone cold PS4 when all of the console launched then I moved to PC. Now I am leaning towards Xbox One and trying to convert my multiplat PS4 titles to X. It's just interesting and considering the amount of exclusive on Xbox versus PS4...

No. It's always PC. Why would I want to downgrade? I only play exclusives on console.

I used to be all PC, but when mine broke I had enough of PC. Now I XBOX ONE and likely won't go back. PC is a money pit.

No I haven't felt the need to change my primary platform the XOne, I always choose a console at the start of the gen and stick with it, I don't think I've ever switched platforms mid gen, come to think of it. There are always great games on systems I don't own that tempt me, but I try to look for alternatives on the console I have so I'm fine right now and quite satisfied with my choice.

But I am thinking of getting a PS4-pro next year for some of the exclusives(mostly the Housemarque titles, and other games like Detroit/Bloodborne) since I have a 4K TV already, the most expensive piece of this new 4K experience, it would just be my secondary system though so I'm really not in a rush and I spent a lot of money this year. Having a superb time on the X and I have to say the upgrade to 4K has been great for me. Happy Thanksgiving all

Nope. PlayStation has been my primary since Christmas 1995. Either Sega or Nintendo have made good secondary consoles but haven't been primary since Genesis and Game Gear. I am having fun with my Switch though.

Over the course of the gen, nah.

But at the start of the gen, yeah a couple of things changed. My system preference used to be simple; buy and enjoy all systems and do most of my gaming on consoles.

Now I mainly just game on PC and didn't even bother with the Xbone. And while Playstations were my favorite systems for gens 5, 6, and 7, the PS4 has actually been the least played console I've ever owned.

If things keep going the way they're going, I'll probably just stick to a combo of PC and Nintendo systems. Maybe pick up the next Playstation much later in its cycle to play whatever worthwhile exclusives it gets.

Out of all the previous gens, I was pro on everything buying all the big 3 consoles, that is, until NOW. Now all I really do is just gaming all on PC, PS4 is my all-around main console in the house for it's exclusive library games, media apps, and Blu-Ray player set. Playing MS exclusive games on PC now is a nice bonus without purchasing a MS console. Nintendo Switch is well, just to play Nintendo games only.

My preference is PC gaming, follow by PS4.

Nope, always PC first and whatever looks interesting second which is basically PS4 to me, no interest at all in anything Nintendo produces and Xbox has absolutely nothing to offer anyone with a PC though I bought an Xbox One at the start of the gen for Halo MCC and yeah, it was worth it.

I was hoping there would be a lot of Xbox One exclusives, like 360 last gen but well, we all know how that worked out. Spencer is the worst thing to happen to Xbox and may well be the death of it. '4K 4K 4K' he bleats like a braindead clown. Total asshat.

Not mine, it was Xbox 360 last gen and I’ve stuck with Xbox One this gen. For me my preference of preferred platforms per gen beaks down as such:

- Atari 2600

- NES

- SNES

- PlayStation

- PlayStation 2

- Xbox 360

- Xbox One

In my years of gaming, I have never changed to another platform during a generation. Once I choose a platform in a generation, I stay with it throughout.

I was mainly PS4, then bought PS4 Pro, which wasn't much of an upgrade to be honest.

Day One X1, then upgraded to X1S, but rarely played either.

Now I have an X1X Scorpio Edition and I barely turn my PS4 on anymore. I am now playing most of my games on team green...so I guess you could say my preference has changed.

Nah. I always go PC + Nintendo. This time, Nintendo was awesome enough with the Switch to get more gametime than my PC.

Leaned more towards Nintendo. Games still have DNA from the 90's, not shitty movie games more interested in presentation.

PC is still master race though, but when it comes to consoles, just ignore the other shit, get a Nintendo.

As usual almost all PC and a bit of Nintendo WiiU for BOTW.

No interest in the interactive b movie players.

This year has changed a lot for me. I am almost always a mostly PC gamer first and a Nintendo Fan. This year that is still true, but I have also really been enjoying my Ps4 Pro. I feel that the Ps4 has finally hit it's stride with plenty of good content. Also the Switch has really blown me away. I got rid of my 3ds and I do not even miss it. What a crazy year. (In a good way)

Yes I used to have all or at least most platforms and after this generation of 'everything is eventually available on PC' I will probably stick to Nintendo and PC only. Pretty much every game that I used to justify my PS4 purchase to my sister is now available on PC.

Not particularly. My interest is usually split around different gaming systems, and it fluctuates depending on game releases and lifestyle habits. This year, I am primarily gaming on PC and Nintendo Switch.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (GameCube; 2002)

Unless other platforms support keyboard and mouse natively in games (in addition to gaining the genres I like)? Nope.

The consoles are still attractive to me only because of exclusives. This gen has been lackluster so far. The only exclusive I really want to play is Uncharted 4. But, one game isn't enough to sway me over.

Got a PS4 at launch, got my XB1 about 2 years later.. but the PS4 was my main console till about Feb 2017

SONY started off strong, but imo they started to trend downhill fast after the VR and Pro announcement, and the "exclusives" do not interest me besides the big names like God of War, Last of Us 2, Infamous, ect

I really do not care about JRPGs or most weabo games.

Lately I'm just on Xbox one X and still play RTS/MMOs on PC (Light's hope ftw)

Nope. The PS4 gives me what I want and I'm more than happy with it.

Actually, I was mainly Nintendo and Xbox last gen, and I started off the gen with just getting a Wii U. I didn't plan on getting a PS4, but I was really excited for the new Onechanbara and it made me really want it. I was also pretty sick of Wii U missing out on so many games.

I started out with PS4 at the start of the gen (because I was mostly PS3 last gen because of 360 RRoD), but after 6 months or so I went back to Xbox... mainly because I prefer the controller and I missed Halo/Forza. And haven't regretted it at all.

My preferences haven't really changed (still PC first with PS4 for exclusives, same combo i've had since ps2 era).

I have had increased exposure to the Xbox brand and its exclusives since they are coming to Windows now. I know a lot of people who have had problems using the windows store but its been fairly painless for me. I'm just the kind of person MS is targeting by bringing their first party stuff on PC since i'd probably never play those games otherwise.

I still don't care about Nintendo, though I think i understand the appeal of their platform and their games a bit more, it just doesn't jive with what I enjoy and look for in gaming.

Not really... PC is my main platform, that being said I did play a lot of PS4 because of Bloodborne and now my secondary console is my Switch since its first party games are unrivalled. PC has and always will be my main platform until consoles standardise 60FPS.

Hell no, I've enjoyed my Xbox's this gen as it the definitive console if you want racing games. The PS4 on the other hand is a barren wasteland when it comes to great racing games not available on other consoles, I mean even the Switch has a better racing game not available on the PS4 and that's a remastered go kart game LOL.

If I were a racing game fan and own a PS4 I would trade it in ASAP.

Nope, with each generation starting with the PSX, I've bought less and less console games, and more PC games.

Consoles used to have a totally unique libraries, now they have the same library with maybe 5 games I care about on PS4, 2 on switch, and nothing on xbox.

Started PC, got sick of the hassles of dealing with a mouse and kb, put it in storage and moved to Xbox One. Had a blast with the Xbox one for a few months then got bored to tears, so I ditched that nonsense and now I'm back to PC with a Wii U controller. If I started from owning no gaming system this gen, I would go PS4 all the way, despite the fact that it's controller has such terrible battery life. Sony is the king this gen, hands down.

I got an XB1 first because it had games I wanted I couldn't play on PS4 and all the better PS4 stuff was a ways off. It has been my preferred console for all multiplats and remains that way now. Still grabbed a PS4 for those essential exclusives I can't play one XB1, and Switch for those Nintendo exclusives, but I game most on my XB1 and definitely remaining that way since getting an XB1X and a beautiful 4K OLED.

PC. I gradually gravitated more towards open world experiences like Skyrim, Witcher3, GTA5, FO4 and all of those are VASTLY superior on PC.
