Any of you PS3 Early Adopters Regretting your Purchase?

Nah they will just wait till the end of time for Sony to deliver on there promises.

But i agree it must really suck to have been used as a pawn by Sony to push there Blue Ray agenda to save there failing company. Then see that all the outrageous boasts about super computer power and graphics only to realize the 360 has just as good graphic and better games. Sad part if is that they actually believe the PS3 will over take 360 in power and performance when that is clearly not going to happen. Developers have always said that the difference between the to console is much much smaller then last gen between the Xbox and ps2.

I don't have any sympathy for early adopters who complain. (especially informed gamers)

im fine with the ps3 actully playing it more then the wii and 360 when im not on WOW,

 because iim a huge fan of fighting games and ps3 as tekken 5 dr and vf5 so right now its heaven for me

If this was an actual question, no, I don't regret it at all. GT: HD, fantastic. Blu-ray movies on my high-def projector: Beautiful. Knowing I have every platform? Priceless. :)

Funny that this question is asked by someone who does not even own one, lol. Do I regret buying my PS3? No way, as I know what killer games are just down the road that I could not stand not being able to play. I have a 360 as well, which I love, but I would take the PS3 any day, if I had to make a choice for the LONG TERM. 

Anyway, as the saying goes....patience is a virtue.;) You cannot expect all of their top games to come out in the first 5 months, can you?:lol: Get real, man.

Nope, I'm loving the PS3 a lot more than the Wii. I watch Blu-Ray movies, play Resistance, VF5, MotorStorm, NBA2k7, NBA Street, Oblivion, and help cure cancer. What do you do?watchcity

first, $600 isn't that much of money to me

second, I enjoyed very much of Blu-Ray watching, and some good games like MotorStorm, VF5, Resistance, and Oblivion ...

I found no reason to regret :)

If I regretted it, I would feel EXACTLY the same for the Wii, and furthermore, the 360 I felt that way one year ago.

So no, I enjoy the multimedia functionality from browsing the net, Blu-Ray, WiFi, and Showing my latest Pics on TV thru the SD slots/Compact Flash/ Pro Duo slots, to Online with Resistance.

I wish there were more games now, sure, but I felt the same way about the 360 a year ago.

The Wii, though, is equally dissappointing, yet it too will pick up, since it's new.

Sony is not a failing company just because their gaming division is not doing very well at this time. The PS3 has a more powerful CPU than the 360. The 360 has a more powerful GPU. Power is more than just graphics, you know. They are basically even. The PS3 is smarter while the 360 is prettier. I am an informed customer who bought a PS3 over a 360 with this knowledge. The PS3's features are worth the money and make it unique and competitive. Good day.

first of all you can say the same thing about the wii. secondly, i dont really care because its not like i play games that much. i play it about 5 hours a week and when all the good games do come out it prolly wont change. as for the $600? thats nothin, i made it in about a week, coughGMcough
