Announcing Nintendo @ E3 2014!

Great video and unlike anything I've seen from Nintendo. What do you think?

1st ever Smash Brothers Invitational Tournament during E3 as well! People can play the game at their local BestBuy.

I'm really hoping we get something to invigorate the 3DS library. Link Between Worlds lived up the reveal hype, damn it Nintendo, get more games like that.

Also, I'll say it again, I think Reggie and Miyamoto should be characters in the new Smash Bros.

Sure would be kick ass if Nintendo got their badger back. Not sure if I'll wait til E3 to get a WiiU or not :)

I agree. REINVIGORATE THE 3DS LIBRARY? Are you mad? I can never decide WHAT to play when I finish a game. Some people are just never satisfide. And umm HELLO Kirby just got rave reviews.

No. I can rent it from Gamefly if I want though. I tried to buy it last year, but GS never got back to me on finding a used copy. Why?

@Heil68: I'd assume it's a decent JRPG for non-JRPG players and it is the predecessor to X.

Also, it's a decent reason to dust off the Wii U. I'm probably gonna start it soon.

Yea, supposed to be a great game and hella long too..which can be good or bad. Hope it is moderate on the grinding.

You're making quite a few assumptions. Just because a game is difficult doesn't make it HARD CORE. Just because a game is easier than others doesn't make it any less fun. Just because a game has a sliding scale for gamers of all types doesn't make it any less of a game.

Why do you care so much anyway? If I think they're casual, I think they're casual. I've played just about every 3DS game with so called "rave reviews."

What does that even mean? What's wrong with casual? And which games are you talking about? Cause most Nintendo games get pretty damn difficult if you're going for 100% and unlocking all the extra worlds and bonuses.

Which has always been the way Nintendo made their games. You can beat Mario 64 normally or go for all the stars. It's up to you how casual you want the experience to be.

If Nintendo is this excited for E3, I wonder what they're hiding up that sleeve of theirs.

Sounds like no regular E3 conference again for the gamers like the big boys. What a bummer :(

No press conference again. That sure worked out well for them last year.

Plan C: Claim the hot chick for myself and make tons of babies.

I'm really not a fan of them eschewing the press conference model, but it sounds like they've learned something from last year's E3. "Digital event" sounds more promising than just another Nintendo Direct.

So here is the TL;DR version

-Hosting a Smash Bros Tournament (weird because E3 is not a public event)

-New SSBU playable at Best Buy from June 10-13th

-New SSBU information at E3 (most likely the 3ds version)

-Nintendo TreeHouse will live stream new games and content. (They have done this before)

-NO formal Press Conference....But NOT a Nintendo Direct either (I personally dislike that Idea...but its not a Nintendo Direct so...)

-The Entire skit was Zelda themed. (pretty obvious but Zelda will be announced/revealed.)

-Brand New Content Most Likely Wii U related (that was the big focus of the video)

-Most Importantly this show will be GAME focused. I am sure they will talk about the QoL but the entire trailer revolved around games.

Nintendo is going all out this year, finally back to the quality E3 shows they did. Easily the most hyped E3 in years.
