Already Have A PS3, Should I Get A Wii?

Got a ps3, but i am really interested in the wii, so should i get one? i am 22 so im looking for mature games too, please keep in mind that i enjoy good games (zelda metroid re4 no more heroes mad world etc) n i dont think i'l like mario and stuff

If it intrests you then go for it.

The wii has lots of great exclusives and its great for local multiplayer

its prettygood if you already have one of the core systems (pc,ps3, xbox 360) so yeah I think you should get it since you already have a PS3.

You will be paying $250 for about 15 minutes of fun. After that it will die out and you will have buyers remorse sending you back to the retailer throwing rocks at them.

PS3 + Wii is a good combo to have. I'd go for it but if you haven't got a PSP, I'd get that over a Wii.

I have a PS3 and Wii, and they seem like perfect compliments to me. Based on the games that you mentioned, the Wii would be worth it. There's a push for more adult-themed games on the Wii, just look at Cursed Mountain, which was released this week. Go for it!

but wii+ps3 is awesome too

From my experience, don't buy one, it last only 4 hrs and I got bored of it. Played SSBB, it sucked, played SMG, it also sucked, the control sucked, Wii Sports WAS fun, but got bore real quick. Can't wait to sell it.

In your case I would choose a DS instead. I think it has more fun games than the Wii, but it sounds like you want to stick to consoles, so yeah, I guess a Wii would be worth it; but I think it also depends on if you've got a huge list of PS3 games you want. The expense of the Wii + games would hinder your PS3 collection from growing larger. After all, the money spent on a Wii + games for it could be spent enlarging your PS3 collection and helping you get those PS3 games you're interested in.

lol i have all of those and a psp ds xbox 360 and a dead ps2...............and once i had a gamecube.......

If you buy itnowthere will be a bunch of good titles for you to choose from.

NO because there aren't many M games for Wii. Nintendo makes their consoles "family friendly". Like we want to drop $250 for like 5 games that are M, and have terrible controls. If you have the guts, buy a 360, but itll most likely Red Ring the day you get it.

Yes, Wii compliments the PS3 well.

Oh sorry, whatI meant was that the Wii is best played with a complementing console (like my pc or TC's PS3). This is a win win for eveyone whos done that.

No self-respecting person that knows anything about gaming should ever buy a Wii. The only exception is buying one for party games and letting the chicks waggle your sticks.

Yeah, It wouldn't hurt. The Wii isn't a bad system really. But my advice is, Nintendo is gonna drop the price real soon. I'd wait til then to get one.clubsammich91

most of the dudes n dudads said no (yeah u'l get bored in moments, same with when i got a ds, bored within the first 10m) i already hav a psp 2000

some who said yeah didn't have solid reasons, i mean they compliment each other what the hell is that supposed to be? evey console compliments the other, 360 n ps3 black n white pc n ps3 the big box n the bigg box, ps3 n wii petite n muscle

so i won't stick to wii (alhough i friggin can't stop my mouth watering for cursed mountain n some other good games) its too busy a season, i'v got lotsa games to get so ps3 yeah
