Is the game really as terrible as they say? I thought it looked fun.
Well, I've seen the likes of IGN and PC Gamer give better, though still not glowing, reviews. Consensus seems to be that it had an interesting idea, but it was very repetitive and the writing is atrocious.
Never really had high hopes for this one anyway. If it could achieve being just a bit of dumb fun, I would have considered it mission accomplished for Volition.
Oh my. Floppity flop.
I'm shocked. Now its not like there was hype for it but I have seen people comment in podcasts that this will be better than Crackdown 3. Well Crackdown has a lot of room
Hated every trailer I've seen of it. The dialogs sounded like my mother trying to think of things young people might say nowadays.
so far playing it and score comes off way to harsh. If anything seems like the reviewer was offended by the game. I will say this if you hated the saints games dont buy it since its the same in tone.
Giantbomb has a quicklook up. I am halfway through watching it and so far I am positively surprised by the way this game looks and its characters and unlockable upgrades.
Hmm I can see it getting repetitive.
Wow, the flop of this game might have been what made MS postpone Crackdown 3. Both games look eerily similar.
Outside of bugs/glitches (there's been a lot of them) it's a fun game, reminds me of a funny G.I. Joe sitcom
I'm enjoying it so far... it's pretty fun. The city seems interesting enough and the combat feels nice (could be a little more fluid, but it's decent enough).
Although I've only played a couple of hours, so it could fall off a cliff... but so far so good.

I was actually thinking that as well. If anything, the hero class system of AoM offers more. There is a lot of different things going on in AoM, but it is incredibly repetitive. However, its worth keeping in mind that Crackdown 3 will have a multiplayer mode (AoM does not).
