Finally, PC isn't the same beast it used to be but good old Civ 6 saved the pc exlusive 9/10 draught. Congrats, hermits. You can feel like cows and sheeps now. Though they have 9/10 games on a regular basis, of course.

No one is building a PC cause they want some stupid movie game. Of course, they can get PS Now and enjoy them if they want, but its about exclusive power, and awesomeness that some peasents just can't comprehend.

Like playing Witcher 3 max settings at 60fps, you can nominate God of War for Oscar and Noble Prize, doesn't change anything.

I don’t get this post. There are thousands of PC games that you can’t find anywhere else because they aren’t AAA micro transaction filled garbage. I would think people on a gaming forum would know this. Open up Steam or GOG once a year and have a look.

I didn't build my pc for exclusive games, i did it for the better performance, cheaper games, bundles (Humble Bundle), mods, ultrawide 21:9 gaming and last but not least....

@blackballs: Apparently Take-Two were really impressed with the sales of the Switch version, so I could see this coming to the Switch within the next year or so.

Lol, as if Playstation was the only system. The Switch has two 10/10 games the PC will never have. Odyssey and Breath of the Wild. 2 games that are classics, better than anything the PC has pulled out in over a decade.

Might be worth playing soon then.

Can't feel like a cow or sheep without the abysmal low frame rates and lack of performance settings.

Super excited to play this expansion either way. Love me some Civ.

@pyro1245: I love Civ too but I think they went way overboard with the pricing of this expansion. It's $54 here! I can buy assassin's creed odyssey for cheaper! This is supposed to be an expansion not an entirely new game.

Slay the Spire got recently from early access and has 90 on MC. Hasn't been reviewed on GS yet, but for sure it's a AAA. Ign already gave it a 90. ??

Will be released on NS this year, but that doesn't count as NS is a handheld.

P.S. This isn't counting emulation, in which case PC gains a few 10s, 9s, and 8s.

Double to triple the frames is not a few. According to DF most video games are better experienced on PC. As the above data shows, PC has the best library this gen as well.

So basically buy an overpriced GPU to play multiplatform games with a bit better framerate vs GOTY titles that destroy anything on PC. Lol, graphic whores are sad people. Missing out on truly classic titles.

Lot of assumptions in your post there, buddy.

Oh what the hell. I'm feeling generous so I'll go ahead drop some knowledge on you.

Assumption #1 - Ignorance to GPU SKUs and pricing. You lack the understanding of how game settings are configured.

Assumption #2 - Ignorance to the massive game library which exist on PC.

Assumption #3 - You obviously don't understand the magnitude of the possible difference between console and PC frame rates.

Assumption #4 - How would you like to define this one? With many stipulations, I'm sure.

Assumption #5 - Another really common dumb cow statement. No matter how many times people tell you they prefer better performance you'll just be stuck on graphics forever. Trained by Sony, I guess.

Assumption #6 - Probably one of the dumbest assumptions you cows make. Most PC gamers have consoles and experience the same games you do, plus a whole lot more. There's no shame in enjoying a console game, only shame comes from being unable to point out its flaws.

Uhh...Witcher 3 is 80+ hours long, 9.0+, and far superior on PC.

Listen. I'm not here to tell you your opinions about video games are wrong. I'm here to tell you that the hyperbolic statements you make about PC gaming are wrong.

Let me sum it up for you in two bullet points:

• You don't need a small fortune to build a good gaming PC. You can easily do so for under $1000.
• Having a gaming PC doesn't make you miss out on console games.

1. Second placer Opinion. Also. You don't need $3000 to play 4k/60fps. You want the best, you pay the most.

2. No, Second placer. He means new games. PC has 100+ more high scoring games than the next best system this gen. It still holds its lead if you take out INDYs. It has the most AAAs due to various reasons.

3. 60fps > 30fps. By far. Also it has better gfx, load times, mods, etc. Imagine playing the shit version of most games for most of the gen!

4. BoW is best on PC. With that being said, I'll take 100+ more 8/9s over 1 game.

5. 10x better? You have games that scored 900/10? Second placer math.

6. Several of those 100+ 8 and 9 scoring games that aren't on your PS4.

1. It's not an opinion, if the Switch or PS4 were also $1,000 they would do the same. They don't need to be, but you would except a $1,000 machine to have the best games available, it only has indie and multiplats

3. Yawn, not a big deal. It's not a game breaker. Some of the highest rated games are 30fps.

4. BOW isn't on pc and no pc game has scored 10/10 in decades

5. BOW, Odyssey, GOW, Uncharted 4 all higher rated than any pc exclusive in over a decade

6. I own both PS4 and Switch, which are suprior systems to the PC.

It does have the best library, online, and performance/gfx. Which is why $1000 is worth the cost,
