Given a dream scenario, where each new entry is up there with the best of their respective series? MGS. I love SC, but the systems rich stealth action sandbox of MGS keeps me playing. Get hundreds of hours out of a good MGS game.
Realistically though, way more faith in a new SC game being good. And even then that faith is little lol.

Tough call tbh.
But..... a new MGS that ditches the mother base BS with a jungle setting would probably get my vote.
Yes, plz. I like MGSV a lot, but don't care for the bloat. Loved MGS3s setting, and the wide linear approach. Open enough to mess around, but still small enough to have each area feel hand crafted. In general I prefer the one epic mission, procure on site style of the older games. MGS series was always a cut above in attention to detail and interactivity. Reeling it back to smaller spaces again, would love to see what they could do with that now.
@SolidGame_basic: Though it’s hard to imagine what a Metal Gear Solid would be without Kojima. Don’t know if anyone can write like him or have his wacky ideas or design chops lol
The game design chops would be the big concern. Kojima had a ridiculous attention to detail and wasn't afraid to try radically new ideas in each game. Hit or miss, was always a real effort.
As for the wacky shit and writing, eh. I'd rather a new director not try to emulate Kojima. Would just feel weird and probably forced, rather they bring their own flavor to it.
