That's because 90%+ of PCs aren't built for gaming.

Gaming PCs can handle Mass Effect at a higher quality than ANY console can, though.

Rofl..right.

1) Mass Effect is DX9
2) Mass Effect utilizes 512MB on the 360, your typical rig with 1GB is more than enough to handle the game with the same quality textures (which aren't that great looking btw) ..likely even better if you look at what happened with Oblivion and CoD2.

Even the majority of "gaming" PCs (other than the super high-end ones) wouldn't be able to run Mass Effect.  And even on the super high-end ones it would probably still be choppy.

Give me a break, you have no idea what you're talking about dude.

Is this a serious post or are you just trolling? You're not very convincing at all.

You know, if Microsoft could get their Xbox customers to accept the fact that the advances with PC hardware will make games look better a lot of the time maybe they can fix the problem with PC gaming...

You don't think that a card like the 8800 or X1950 could run this game? Get real...

But ya know what.....?

In 2 years, even a semi-decent gaming PC (by todays standards), can be upgraded beyond PS3/360 capabilities for minimal investment. Minimal meaning less than respective console price. Unless of course Sony gets desperate and starts giving out PS3s for free:)
