6/10 if lucky, is Crackdown 3 come February 2019 imo

Now as Jez Corden of Windows central has pointed out on podcasts, Terry Myerson had the bulk of the Hardware and devices budget when he was with the company and Crackdown 3 was announced and pushed, and he out ranked Spencer. Myerson spent it on Surface and it paid off. Surface has made MSFT money and has a name in the tablet and light book market (although fvckin expensive as hell imo!). Since Myerson was let go, Spencer was promoted and answers only to Nadella and has been given funding for the X and studio acquisitions.

But when it comes to Crackdown 3, Cloudgine was bought by Epic while MS was using them for dev of the MP. Don't know where that leaves Crackdown 3. I was so psyched for its MP, SP I didn't care. Crazy, hectic mayhem and the voice over of the agency guy was enough to make me laugh while drunk-playing the campaign. MP was what I was invested in it for. My hope has diminished over time.

I don't know who has the Hype thread for Crackdown 3 reserved, but I am near 100% when I call a 6/10 X1 game and make the hype thread LMAO. Its a given at this point imo. A shame that the only point to it, the MP, now seems lost as well.

Agreed. I think they are going to release it at this point to just release it and not have another cancelled game. I never gave a crap about the SP. The MP was something I was all in on. A shame, truly. Just another fvck up in a gen of fvck ups by Xbox.

I don't care about the MP or the cloud or whatever they call it, that's for the cows to moo over. For me as long as Terry Crews isn't the main character then I will buy it, as it will be like JC3 for me, a game I can just pick up and blow shit up in SP whenever I want, and then put it away again.

I still think it'll surprise most folk and get an 8 on GS providing it doesn't have any massive bugs and issues at release...... which will now doubt cause some people to get mad and rage.

There's no way it will score anything higher than a 7 here, if it scored an 8 this place would explode.

Zassimick still has me label for Crackdown 3 but then again, I stop following the game at the time due to multiple delays and when I saw you ask about it, I actually forgot about the hype thread until now lol. But anyways, now they added Terry Crews in Crackdown 3, I'm more interested and the fact this is a "Play Anywhere+Game Pass" this is a day one for me to play it on my PC and not pay full price :)

I don't have high expectations but I still want to play it day one. So far, this years E3 2018, Crackdown 3 trailer showed a huge improvements then last year and with Terry Crews thrown into it, I'm more interested now then ever. Plus, MS said no more delays this time around and I'm sure they have good confident and I'll give you my own score when I make the hype thread next year.

It's only wise to have low expectations regarding scoring of the game, I mean, it is a X1 title so game sites reviewers auto deduct 3.0 points before they even play the game. Lol :P

@davillain-: I definitely will still be keeping an eye on it. A couple of friends are die hard and think Gamescom will have a new MP destruction exposition. As Jones said, the tech was made for Crackdown 3 and its up to MS what they do with it, so they have whatever was made by Cloudgine. Still, I'm not hopeful and haven't been for a long time.

I'm guessing 6 or 7/10 too. Would score 9/10 if the main character was Spiderman.

Preemptive lem damage control. I have seen this for the last few exclusives they got. Pretty sad having to proclaim low expectations and not being excited for a video game release.

At this point, the game will be lucky to break the 6/10 barrier or even release at all. The game is sounding like a total disaster right now according to this article form WCCFTECH....

That said, as of mid-2017, there was at least some form of multiplayer in place. The mode, entitled “Wrecking Zone,” supported 10 players, and the goal was to destroy your enemy’s tower before the time ran out (matches were around 20 to 30 minutes long). It’s unclear if this version of multiplayer made any use of cloud tech. Jones says that ball’s in Microsoft’s court now…

Honestly, I want this game to get great scores. Not to upset cows or whatever, but because it would be really fucking weird.

Game Pass is on PC through Windows 10 I have use it to play Sea of Thieves & State of Decay 2. At this point, I rather just just rent MS games which is a smart move to do and not pay full price on anything.

Well that last trailer at E3 (like all the other trailers before it) was fucking awful. Some guy yelling like a complete idiot all the way through it, awful graphics and painfully generic gameplay. It was just terrible.

The best thing for MS to do at this point is just give it away with Gold and be done with it, a sort of goodwill gesture for people who want to mess around with it. But MS being MS yeah, that ain't gonna happen.

Yes I was excited for it, but nowhere did I hype it, learn the difference, oh that's right you don't know the difference between a bathroom and a theatre.
