5 games gamespot underrated in score?

Please name 5 games that you feel got horribly low scores from gamespot in the past and didnt deserve it (aka games that got below 9 that you thought where near perfection and 9+).

- Suikoden 1 (PS1) - Gamespot gave this game a 6.5/10, i seriously laugh everytime i see that. The game is one of my all time fav rpgs and is a 9 or 9.5/10 imo.

- Fallout 1 (PC) - Gamespot gave this game a 8.7, which is a good score, but it deserves a 10/10 imo. Hands down one of my fav games ever, top 10 of all time.

- Lost Odyssey/Last Remnant/Too Human (360) - Are you serious?? The two best jrpgs in agesget below 8/10?? 7.5 and 6.5? what a joke. Also Too Human deserved a higher score, as its alot of fun with friends and not as bad as the score got.

- Ratchet And Clank Future (PS3) - A great game for the ps3 that is criminally underrate. One of the MUST HAVE games for ps3. 7.5 is WAY to low imo.

- Mirrors Edge - 7/10?? Are you kidding me?????A game finally is unique and original and you give it a 7/10. Game is a 9/10 imo. Yes the game is short, but the graphics, physics, level design, gamesplay and story are top notch.

I agree with Deus Ex for sure man. Unfortunatly i havnt played enough of Bloodlines yet to say if its underrated or not personally.

Mario Kart 64 - Criminally underrated here at GS Majoras Mask - Playing through this for the first time in almost 5 years, and it still feels fresh and unique. Deus Ex - Seriously GS, WTF Can't think of anymore right now.Im_single

Metal Gear Solid (PS1) - 8.5? Are you kidding me? This is the best game ever made. The story was incredible with its twists, the characters were all memorable, the cutscenes embarassed Hollywood movies, and overall it was just a masterpiece.

Future Cop LAPD (PS1) - 7.0? This game was not average and it was underlooked because it was not as popular as other games. This game had some of the best co-op and vs. multiplayer I've ever experienced and many who played this gem also agree.

Spyro The Dragon (PS1) - 8.3? This was the Mario/Zelda for the Playstation. Just because it wasn't as popular as Zelda or Mario doesn't mean it should score less. This game was one of the best platformers for the PS1.

Silent Hill (PS1) - 8.2? This game was the first game that I was scared to play and it made the Resident Evil series seem like a joke in terms of fright factor. This alone should net the game a 9.5 or higher.

I agree with you there entirely, if MGS4 Deserved a 10.0 mgs1 deserves a 20

1) Deus Ex- 'nuff said.

2) Mass Effect- Yes it had some annoying visual glitches and the Mako is mediocre at best, but to say they detract so much from such a great game is ludicrous.

3) Too Human- Certainly not a great game by any stretch of the imagination, but certainly not 5.5 bad either.

4) Company of Heroes- There are, simply put, no meaningful detractors of this game. If CoH can't justify a 10, no game can.

5) Audiosurf- From a value standpoint alone, how is this game *not* at least a 9?

The Mirrors Edge score was down right sickening. I thought the game was done very well.

Oh...and they could have crowned Street Fighter IV with a 10.

vampire was so broken, one of the few games i never wanted ti finish

Unfortunately I can't agree with you. Bloodlines got the score it deserved, it's a buggy mess and the combat plain and simply sucks. The only thing that makes it a somewhat occult underrated game is that the unofficial patches finally make it work decently, because the roleplaying in this game is awesome.

1. Majora's mask (arguably the best 3d zelda....but it only scores a measly 8.2)

2. Lost Odyssey (from what I've played it deserves atleast an 8.0)

3. Metroid prime 3. (one of the very few wii games that actually makes great use of the controls)

4. Mario kart 64 (it hasn't aged that well...but for it to get a 6.4 at the time it was released!?)

5. Twilight Princess (yes it was a rehash of OOT...but it was a very well done, polished rehash. Deserving of 9.0 IMO)

I also loved Mirror's Edge, was probably in fact my favorite game of last year. That said I can understand why people may not like it.

Different people want different things from games which is why it is much more important to read the text of a review and determin whataspects of a game a reviewer likes and or dislikes and whether you think you'll fell the same.
