Good news. its an Excellent series. although I wish next metro will take place in metro and will have same atmosphere of first 2. all 3 games are excellent but first 2 have better atmosphere and story.

Metro Exodus success that's why its getting another sequel. I think artyom story is done. we will play as new character (possibly that kid at the end).

I hope they can combine the best parts of 2033/2034 with the best parts of Exodus.

Cool for those who like the series. Personally I am not a fan though I have tried to play them on numerous occasions to see if I was missing something about the first game in the series. I honestly felt like I was playing another CoD game with a different setting. Just my opinion though.

Meh... hopefully it's better than Exodus.

I'd be much more interested in the new Saints Row.

Hopefully they'll employ someone to write story and dialogue for the next one. Exodus was just awful in both respects.

They need to go back underground as well we already have a shit ton of open world games releasing constantly.

Exodus isn't open world though. It's just a bunch of open levels that are linked together. You even go through them in a linear way.

It's more like Crysis than previous Metro games.

But honestly, I loved the Volga level but I was less thrilled with the Caspian Desert level. It was just too big and the game kinda lost focus there. Diriving the rickety car there over all the bumps wasn't really that much fun. Would've liked it more if it was smaller and you'd make the distance on foot.

Well it's similar to a lot of open world games but I know what you mean. I much preferred the first two games with linear tunnel levels with occasional exploration above ground as opposed to Exodus which is the other way around.

Exodus just doesn't have that brooding atmosphere. Still a good game though, just nothing special.

wooden characters and dialogue with open ended gameplay and variety in environments easily beats wooden characters and dialogue with on rails gameplay and repetitive environments. i hope they expand on the idea rather than regressing back

Exodus was pretty darn bad visually so no thanks.

Exodus has made great strides, so I hope 4A can continue the trend.

I guess that makes sense, since the DLC probably doesn't need the whole team working on them. Excited for the DLC.
