40GB Playstation 3 Shows up in the US Target for $399

Ah, Target. The home of so many broken street dates. Just days after letting the Xbox 360 Arcade slip out of its doors early, the retailer is apparently proving that the 40GB PlayStation 3 is indeed coming to America -- and for $399.99, no less. Reportedly, the system is all set to "officially" be released here on October 28th, and while we've no way of confirming, we're hearing that it may be bundled with the upcoming Spider-Man 3 flick, too. Anyways, we'll let the photos take it from here -- click on through for more.

First its Blu-ray. Second, it's not theirs. Anyone can go out and buy those movies on regular dvd or blu-ray and watch them in a dvd player/blu-ray dvd player. Your talking like they are PS 3 Exclusives.

They need to just lower the price of the real one and bring out some great games !

UT3 for ps3 has been delayed till 08

Show me where in this paragraph that epic confirms that UT3 for the PS3 is coming out in 2008.

this will be good for the ps3, altho the holidays are when most sales are made, so it's hard to judge how successful this will be.

either way, every indicator points to them coming in last again this holiday....

I will probably be picking one up within the first weekof release.

Now? way to be informed sir. When the PS3 launched it was bundled with a BR movie for some people. I also remember the BR version of Click being bundled in with the PS3.

That has nothing to do with the PS3. Spiderman 3 really was terrible! They completely missed the mark on Venom, and while Topher Grace is a good actor, he simply didnt do Eddie Brock the way he needed to be done. Emo Spiderman was terrible, as well. I had high hopes for this movie to be good, and was let down terribly. To me, the only redeeming factor of the movie was Thomas Hayden Church. I thought he did a bang up job as Sandman, but they muffed that one up too, by tying him to Uncle Bens death.

The 360 has dropped from $399 to $349 and created a $449 120gb Elite. The PS3 from $599 60gb/$49920gb to $499 60gb/$399 40gb.

no the in stock date is 10-28-2007... not 2010 probably thats when the slim Ps3 comes out and they stop selling the 40gb ps3.
