A perfect 10/10 though it deserves more i think. The visuals leave me speechless, the voice-overs are awesome and well cast. I love the story too, there isn't anything not good other than possibly the lip synching w/ the Japanese version. I've seen both, well not entirely the Japanese version, but I love them both but I perfer the American version, the voice-overs are so well done!! In particular I love Cloud, Tifa, Marlene, Vincent, Reno and Rude, Kadaj, Loz, Sepiroth, and well all of them actually,LOL!!!
The only drawback is a lot of the trailers I saw in 05 had scenes that never made it in, though some are on the deleted section it just isn't enough, but that would only add to this priceless movie by Tetsuya Nomura and the rest of Square Enix. The only other thing that I can see people giving the movie a bad rating is the fact that it is made for fans of FFVII and not everybody. I think that is how it should be, come on, it's not made for family fun night or something for crying out loud like LOTR!!! Anyways I give it a 12/10 just for that.
Final Fantasy AC was an ok movie it did what it was intended to do. it gave the fans a fresh look on the characters and world of final fantasyVII ,and it goes without saying that FF7AC was a beautful movie but in appion if you look beyond the pretty CG graphs the underling story is very rushed and poor in comparson to the deep and rich story of the game but i still enjoyed the movie and think every fan needs to see it, i just wish the story was a little bit better
oh and apperances by Barrent, Yuffie, Red 13 and cat sith was disopinting
sorry for my bad grammer guys im just a dumb varsity spots jock that loves video games
my thoughts exactly it was beatfull to look at but the story was pritty weak compared to the deep and memorable story of the game
clouds voice wasnt great but now that i think about its not realy bad, its just a common male voice, the only voice ackting i realy hated was cids
10/10. being so far from the game, and remenicing of the good old days it made me happy. watching the old FF VII stuff on the first disk was enjoyable. Disk 2 wasn't that great i agree.
I would rate Advent Children a 9 out of 10. The only downside was the synching of voices, and that kind of ruined the movie. The deleted scenes weren't that great either.MasterC2009
graphics were good but why i feel they look too asian ? and similar 9/10
the story wasn't that good , they had add much more to it .7/10
gameplay :P the action was good but it was all action no talking at all
sound : the music was great but i felt he could do better than that , the game had better music 8/10
One word to sum up = SUBPAR...overall 6/10
CG is nice, fight scene is nice, story is ...... *YAWN*... pretty lacking, music is okay. AC didn't have the depth of the game as its movie sequel. Though some could argue that I shouldn't expect this to be anywhere as deep as the game (which was great but had an underwelming final fifth to it, and not to mention a terrible open to interpretation ending thoguh I did love it), I must say they could have made the whole thing came together alot better. More fighting scenes don't make a good movie. Plots? What plots, there was hardly any. There was no mystery or depth as the game. The ending for this was only okay at best. Hence overall I gave it a 6/10 as a critic. Only the biggest fanboy/girl of the series would give this any higher than 7 at most. It's worth one watch for casuals but otherwise probably worth collecting only if (and I mean IF) you liked FFVII.
