I don't think he takes any head coaching role. At least none of the ones you have listed above. He has already told the Browns no, the Lions and Jets are teams that need some major holes filled before they can be serious contenders. And don't tell me the Jets were one win from the postseason, any team that drops games to the Seahawks, 49ers and Bills did not deserve to go to the postseason.
I don't see him going to Dallas or Seattle, Oakland isn't open yet (it may not be either), same with St. Louis but I can't see him going there either. You have to remember that Cowher is a defense first type of guy and none of those teams have that strength or mentallity. I also don't see him going back to a cold weather city, just a hunch, he likes the Carolinas.
I think he stays an analyist for another year. If anything I can see him going to the college level before the pro's again.
I think he's smart enough to wait for a job he likes is open. I'm not sure either of those teams in the list is a prime spot to win.duxup
I'm sure likes will be defined mostly by money but I would agree it would entail who the owners are, how much he is able to do, etc...
agreed to only listen to the jets right now, would be interesting, probaly would be able to talk favre into returningMissPeanutI just read that he wont' go for the Jets job because the Jets won't let him bring in his own personnel director

Though with his family close by, I can understand that move. You wonder if the Bills position seemingly opening up would interest him now?
