They need ownership that wants to win.duxup
I think it's more of a coach that is afraid of crushing people's dreams.
The guys they have right now throwing the ball suck. The coach needs to make them go away and bring in new guys.
Standing by a player is one thing. Standing by a poor player is completely different animal.

Does the coach have many options though? Aside from a couple players they keep they seem to have no interest in going out and getting anyone nor do they care about letting people go.
The way I hear it the ownership is spread out amongst the family and most of whom are happy enough to just sit and earn profits without investing much.

In the last two drafts they've been in prime position to get a quality QB. Instead they've gone other directions while leaving that hole at the top of the chain.
They could have gone with Flacco, they could have picked up Henne.
That's not counting the free agents they could have picked up.
The team decided that Kyle Orton wasn't going to be good enough and took the job from him. Why is he back in? If your "starter" isn't as good as Orton and Orton wasn't good enough to be a starter then what are you doing?

They should have done a lot of things differently. I'm wondering if the coach has options, that he's allowed to pick. I always figured the owners were pulling strings to keep from having to actually spend money.
to be honest that pentaly against tillman was beyond wrong. the bucs offensive linemen started to take swings at another bear(which the refs didn't see) and defended his fellow team mateRagashahs
If the refs didn't see that, the refs are blind. One of them was staring RIGHT AT the guy on the Bucs who started it...they were maybe 3 feet away(if you see the replay again, notice the ref who is standing right next to everybody). It was a total BS call.
last week the chargers were clearly screwed out of a win.
this week the bears were screwed. yah they should have won it in regulation. but they didnt. than that absolute bs call penatly on tillman. if anything it should have had off setting. calls the ref some how missed the tb guy throwing punches and starting the fight.
nfl is officially no longer the national football league it is the no fun league. they find ways to f*** teams over every week. next i wonder who will get one up the butt.
