Well, it isn't the money is the years. If Pujols leaves then I could see St. Louis using that money to sign Fielder. At this point it is pretty much guaranteed that some team, not named Cardinals, will overpay him. He is a franchise player, a game changer. But it has to be for the right price.
Being from Texas I would root for the Rangers... but I never really got into baseball. It is exciting at times but not too much to keep my interest for a whole season.
However, I will watch Game 4 ONLY because I want to see Zooey Deschanel sing the national anthem :3
Felt bad for Holland not getting to finish the game, but it was still the right move. I hope the rangers don't overpay for CJ in the off season (people say he will get 90-100 million). -just let him walk and pay the pitchers the have -or use all that new TV money to overpay CC

Pujols is going to end up on the Cubs next year, so I could care less either way. Though I would love to see Theriot win the series, I can't stand the team he's on.
This was the first baseball game I saw through the end. I can definitely say without lying that I was excited throughout most of the game. I told myself whoever won game 5 is going to win the series. So I hope I am right.
Still prolly won't get into baseball but I'll root for the Astros or Rangers if they make the playoffs. The season is just waaaaay too long.
I read on Twitter, after Freese dropped the pop-up, one of the Jays writers that is there overheard a fan ask "What the hell is going on?". I think everyone is asking that.
