I know we have had this topic before, but it is an interesting subject, so let's continue. Its a tough call. There was that big gap of nothing in between the Ram and Cardinal years. But the three best performances in Super Bowl history really stick out. When you put that together with how he achieved all of the success and his humble beginnings, I have to say yes, he is HOF material.

I agree. He always was as clutch as can possibly be when his team had a chance.

Agreed. He might not be a first ballot entrant but he definitely deserves a spot in the HOF.

I still can't get over that 100 yard TD return by the Steelers, if somebody just pushes him out of bounds or if they score a TD instead the Cards are champs with Warner.

I dont think we should we defy a hof by the rings he got. If So, Dan Marino and Charles Barkely arent hofs.

I think he deserves to be. But I dont think he will be a first time ballot inductee but I do think he will get in.

How is this a "tough call?" I don't accept your premise. Warner is easily a Hall of Famer. I'm not sure that this is even debatable.

There really is no more debate about Warner. He came up huge in so many big spots. He's a no Brainer to make the HOF.

Brett Favre is a first ballot HoF once he retires and he only has one ring, just like Kurt. And Warner has been to more Super Bowls than Favre. There's no question that someone like Warner will be a Hall of Famer.

in fact in many respects he is more of a HOF'er than my favourite team's QB .... the Colts Peyton Manning ....

That is just absurd. Manning has more yds, wins, completions, touchdowns, mvp's, etc. They have the same amount of SB rings. When it's all said and done people will argue whether Manning is the best qb ever, and although Warner definitely deserves to be in the hall of fame, NOBODY will ever argue that for him

Nobody will argue that Manning is the greatest of all time. Montana, Elway, Graham and Unitas are on a completely different level than Peyton.

Umitas was kind of overrated, Elway was labbeled a choker by people of your kind at the stage of the career Manning is in right now and Graham played in a completely different era.

You're right about Elway, we will have to wait until the end of Manning's career to compare. So what if Graham played in a different era, so did Montana and Unitas.

He rescued too dismal franchises and led them to the Super Bowl. He was clutch, he has the stats, and the championship. Yes.

Assuming longevity is not a requirement for the football HOF, yes.

Tell that to Terrell Davis. You won't find another running back in the HISTORY of the league that had 3 consecutive years better than he did in 96,97 and 98
