I'm not saying that any WR should make the pro bowl if they hit 1000 yards. I was only comparing the difference between Driver and Jennings in which Driver has over 1000 and only 2 or 3 TD receptions. Jennings have 12 TD receptions and if I am not mistaken, only trails Terrell Owens in the NFC? Jennings isn't just a deep threat. He turned short passes into big plays as well. He can block pretty good too. He's a playmaker. I've watched Colston and he's been too inconsistent to be considered in the Pro Bowl.
Colston should of gotten in over Driver, not Jennings. Jennings is a great deep threat, reminds me of Alvin Harper back in the day. However you don't make the probowl for getting 1000 yards(18 wr's have 1000 yards as of right now)..and he isn't even there yet. Espurs117
Driver is getting in b/c of reputation and reliability. There aren't many better hands in the NFL than him. Jennings probably should've gone, but he's played many games where he had 50 or less yards and just got a TD. manningbowl135
You are right that Driver has sure hands. But Jennings has good hands too and have more yards per game than Driver. Driver had the same amount of games under 50 yards as Jennings but Jennings scored in most of those games. [QUOTE="manningbowl135"]Driver is getting in b/c of reputation and reliability. Looking at both their stats right now, Jennings definitely should've gone. But look at the reception total. Driver at 82, Jennings at 53. So the only thing that makes sense to me is Driver has less YPC, less TDs and less in almost all categories, but that 30 catch differential show he's still the go to guy in that offense. The voters probably didn't want to pick a guy who wasn't the go to guy in his own offense.
