yea, I'm assuming early 2000's then Saban took Muschamp to the phins. and les miles took over at LSU. Fisher stayed at LSU one more year then came to FSU for the "coach in waiting" title.

Ohio St is good, but no one knows how good cuz their schedule is a fuckin joke. Schedule some good outta conf. teams then you can talk bc the Big 10 is shit this year. They don't want it with Bama or Noles. Both are more balanced on O and have better Defenses than the Bucks imo.

While that was certainty stupid to say and I don't agree, (and I would hope Urban would smack that kind of talk going forward) I believe OSU would make it competitive.

OSU is very physical at the line on both sides of the ball and that is the one area FSU doesn't do well with. On the other hand, I think the OSU secondary would have a bit of trouble with FSU on the perimeter. That is also Bamas only real weakness is it's corners...

I am for sure no SEC fan. BUT to talk SOOO much crap. After OSU versus ANY SEC team. REALLY? Look at their bowl record against any SEC team. A win against Arkansas WOO HOO! No offense, but FSU's schedule hasn't exactly been woo hoo either. Outside of Clemson, who exactly? Don't say Miami because they are being exposed as the frauds they are and the huge drop in the polls are reflecting that.

One player talked a little bit of crap and everybody goes off the handle, one that Urban quickly said he wasn't happy about. Last I checked winning 21 games in a row regardless of anything is really good, that's why it doesn't happen very often.

OSU has one of the better olines in the country and Carlos Hyde is a legit future NFL back. 7.3 yards a carry, dude just runs people over...

I don't dismiss OSU's weak schedule but CAL was schedule in a day when Aaron Rodgers was the QB, and Vandy while no powerhouse.. chickened and backed out. Fact of the matter is, everybody has cupcakes on the schedule. Alabama had Chattanooga and FSU played Bethune-Cookman...

I just read Meyers' response to the loud player. props to Meyer on the response. All the teams can do is win their games and whatever happens, happens. Playoffs next year but I'm sure their are still going to be unhappy teams/fans. But a step in the right direction for sure.

No teams outside the SEC really have that tough a sched. Clemson's still a better team than anyone Ohio St plays this year. And what's a 21 game winnin streak have to do with this year ? lol

Yeah but is the SEC really all that tough this year? Alabama, LSU and Auburn are the clear tops then you have Missouri and Texas A&M and that shaky defense. After that its a bunch of blah... very top heavy for being a typically deep league.

I never said it had anything to do with this year, but it adds pressure does it not? Look I'm not disputing Alabama and FSU being number 1 and 2...but if you don't think a OSU or Baylor don't belong in that same conversation....you haven't been watching those teams play. I'll be curious to see how the B10 championship goes, MSU will be in the 10-13 range of the BCS and that defense is legit as it comes in the NCAA.

Yea I would say OSU in the convo, but i'm not sold on Baylor yet. Let's see what happens when they play Okie St and UT. Sooners offense is shit plus their QB sucks. And MSU defense is great but the offense not so much.

SEC's not as good as it has been with UGA and UF crippled by injuries. It's still the best conf in the NCAA though no question.

I won't disagree there, SEC is still the de facto conference until somebody says otherwise.
