well im sure alot of people would. thats the thing about sonic fanboys, no matter how much a sonic game sucks, theyll buy it anyway and defend it no matter the cost.

Speak for yourself. I didn't buy Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity mainly because it didn't improve much on the formula and had no online play. Most of the modern games I played, I either rented or waited for a major price drop. Not every Sonic fan is some drooling idiot who buys any piece of shlock with Sonic's face on it. I am not rushing out to buy Black Knight mainly because it seems really short and there are other games I'm playing right now.
Don't generalize all Sonic fans. Some of us have half a brain and don't live in some parallel universe and act like every crappy game is good. Out of curiosity I recently got a really cheap used copy of Sonic Next Gen and that game is awful. Even if you can get past the lame story, annoying friends and tedious fetch quests, the game had bugs out the ass that were impossible to ignore.
Even Shadow's game I could overlook the ridiclous attempts to be "edgy" if I hadn't had to deal with the tedium of having to circle the stages endlessly trying to finish those stupid hero/dark missions.
I hate people that assume all Sonic fans are drooling morons who are either furries or overly obsessed that they have no proper perception of reality and are incapable of being objective. One of the things Sonicspot prides itself in is that we're NOT the sort of fans who go around acting like Sega can do no wrong and that every modern game is the best game EVARRR!! Look at our review archive.

We hate that Sega half-asses some games and add in stupid gimmicks that don't add anything to the gameplay (or worse hinder it). We know that the last few Sonic games aren't as good as they could be. So don't immediately assume that because we're Sonic fans, that we're raving morons who don't know how to be objective.
