Name a 6th gen game besides GTA SA that you loved

It's always he same gen on PC, so how should I even know what games are supposed to be "6th gen"?

So from 2001 to 2005 give or take? The only games I remember playing were both KOTORs, the three main Harry Potter games, Beyond Good and Evil and the three main GTA games. Oh, and probably Counter-Strike.

6th gen was amazing probably my favorite of all time I'm sure I missing games mostly PC exclusives since PC doesn't have any gens.

@rmpumper: the ones between 1999 and 2005. Where the models where mostly 4000 polygons.

@warmblur: That is a great list. And yeah, I have to agree gen 6 might be the best gen.

GTA: San Andreas was garbage. Unfocused mess.

First thing that came to mind was Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes

Every Tony Hawk game that came out that generation. Ratchet and Clank, Maximo Army of Zin

I didn't like San Andreas, preferred Vice City & 3.

If I was to to do a top 10 games from generation 6 SA wouldn't be in it

I still play Ninja Gaiden Black and it doesn't even feel old at all. For me, the Original Xbox had some games which aged quite well.

R-Type Final, and Gradius 5. I've recently been exploring the PS2 and I've found that there aren't a lot of 2D games. I have a feeling that developers that gen thought that 2D games were a thing of the past and no one wants them, strangely there are more then ever released these days.

Anyway, going back to those games I mentioned, I didn't like the 3D graphics they use. Gameplay also seemed a bit slowed as well.

I think the 5th gen was a perfect blend of 2D and 3D games. The 6th gen focuses a lot on 3D, yet for me the 3D games on the PS2 often didn't age too well.

Speaking of SA this is pretty cool.
