I play a lot of fifth generation systems and unfortunately this does not have s video but I do have component for my ps2 for a nice 480i image with good colors.

I bid 25$ so I expect to win especially since I have been tracking the bidding history on my day off and am prepared for a bid war. Main thing that interests me is stereo since most speakers are not shielded and my current crt is mono.

I would have bid higher if it had s video but I guess Beggars can’t be choosers.

Does the picture look alright in the pictures and how is component crt on ps2. Is it that noticeable ? I have played 480p on led tvs and it looks worse than composite on crts imo

I've had a good experience using component cables on a wide range of televisions. Currently I have the Wii and PS2 hooked up to newer flatscreens and couldn't be happier with the display. I will admit I'm not a person who cares about graphics, it's more about functionality and game play for me, but I'm a proponent for component.

@Blueresident87: I can second that Wii looks pretty good through component cables.
