How much do you think I could sell this for?

I'm selling my NeoGeo AES system with one controller and two games....the Japanese versions of Samsho I and II. My system's been modded to allow for S-Video input as well as stereo sound, and something to do with the BIOS but am not exactly sure what (unibios?). I've searched on e-Bay and most AES systems go for $300 or so, but I've seen modded ones for up to $500. The Samsho U.S. AES versions from what I'm seeing are at least double as expensive as the Japanese ones (a few hundred), but the Japanese carts are sitting at around $80-$90.

So I'm thinking around asking $450-500, but if the difference between a stock AES rig and a modded one is $200, I could sell it for $650+.

Anyone know a good price?

I think you can sell it for around $500 and it looks like it's in very good condition as well. I'll throw in this link from eBay so you can get an idea how much you think it'll sell and hope this helps.

@MirkoS77: A lot depends on whether you've got a Japanese Neo Geo or a US Neo Geo. US Neo Geo's go for quite a bit more than the Japanese version because a US Neo Geo will have English dialogue no matter where the cart came from. Also make sure you take a picture of the serial # on the bottom if you list it on ebay, most collectors would want to know what the serial # is since some of the lower #'d consoles performed better.

@davillain-, @n64dd, @suicidesn0wman, @Solaryellow

Serial number:

From what I'm researching online, in the range of 20-30k is what's generally desired, but I'm reading anything under 90k is good as post detrimentally affects RGB. My games have the choice to play in either language, which I believe is part of the uniBIOS that came with it being modded. You can turn on and off all types of settings, blood, dip switches, choose between MVS vs. AES, cheats, etc.

If it has been internally modified, I'd also crack it open and take some pictures of the install quality. No one wants to get stuck with shoddy mod work.
