I miss the arcade scene I'm just curious if you remember the last time you where at the arcades where you actually played any?

For me my memory is a little foggy on this there is two instances that could of been the last time. The first one was probably in 1996 and playing Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. The other memory was at another mall arcade where I might of played Mortal Kombat 4 this was probably in 97 sometime I remember looking at the cabinet but I can't remember if I actually played. It's crazy how fast arcades died out once the 3-D consoles hit the market.

I hated arcades. The few times I went to one I always had the feeling I was being robbed because I could be playing games at home for free. I guess those were the og microtransactions.

I think Time Crises 4 - 5 was the last game I played at a arcade.

About four years ago in downtown Alameda Ca. There is an 80's arcade called High Scores that charges $5 for one hour of play or $10 to get your hand stamped and you can come and go all day. We got the hand stamp and spent the day jumping back and forth between the Lucky 13 bar and the arcade. There is also a kick ass toy store right there that has a lot of original 80's toys on display. He-Man, GI Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, Thundercats and other stuff I can't even remember right now. It's like a walk through my childhood.

About four years ago, met up with a few friends at some retro arcade in San Francisco. Played a lot of the Simpsons game, and Area 51.

The last real arcade I visited was way back in 1994/95. It was in London, I think I was about 16 at the time. I remember it had all the latest 3D games like Virtua Racing and stuff in there.

There was a small arcade at my local cinema, although I don't recall playing games there regularly.

Prior to that it would have been the local big arcade near our holiday caravan that my dad used to own in north Wales back in 1992. It was your typical British arcade, all the classics were there, you know the ones. great times.

Of course, arcade machines could be found everywhere in blighty back in the 80's and 90's. Most pubs would have at least one with Double Dragon or Golden Axe running on it. Video rental stores were sure to have them, our local did.

I miss those days...

Does Dave & Busters count here? Its as close to having an actual Arcade in the modern era as we'll ever gonna get.
