I mean at this point, it is clear that the left is just hating on Trump just for the sake of hating. Let's take a look at everything he and his administration has accomplished:

  • One of the lowest unemployment rates in decades (currently around a 3.9%)
  • Lowest black unemployment rate in the history of America
  • Largest tax cut in history
  • Korean war between North and South is finally over
  • Appeal of the Affordable Healthcare Act's original mandate
  • ISIS has been destroyed
  • Trillions of dollars coming back to the US
  • Most deregulation in US history
  • US manufacturing jobs are the highest they have been in years

Yet the left is trying to impeach him and the Democrat leading the charge is Maxine Waters, one of the most corrupt and racist politicians in America right now.

Why is the left still so resistant? Why won't they acknowledge all of the great things he has done for America? I think it is because they thought he was going to fail hard, but instead of failing he has actually lead a very good presidency.

-Rooted from the Obama administration, which Trump claims credit for

-Again, Obama administration

-Proved to be a sham

-North Korea, as much as it pains me to say, acknowledges the US had nothing to do with it

-No they haven't. It's like saying Sinn Fein (a left-wing party of bigots in both sides of Ireland) and the IRA dissolved after a political agreement between Republic of Ireland and the UK in 1997. They're still very much active. Nice use of "Mission Accomplished"

-In debt...

-Resulting in screwing over our environment, business, among many others

-Any non-far-right sources for that?

Lets also add...

-his disastrous attention to disasters (Puerto Rico, and hell, he hasn't said anything on Hawaii yet)

-Advocating of criminals ("very fine people")

-Focusing on the Robert Mueller investigation and trying to obstruct it in EVERY turn ("fighting back").

Need I say more?

One of his biggest screw ups was approving the Dakota pipeline. It wasn't even operational before it sprung a leak. And he certainly hasn't stepped in to help the people of Flint Michigan and St Louis. Both cities are still dealing with heavily contaminated water. I'll never support a president who removes regulations protecting the enviornment we depends on to survive. He wants us to continue to depend on coal and oil when we don't need to. We cannot keep carving up the earth otherwise much like a turkey after Thanksgiving the earth too will barren of any resources. And please dontention that text cut. It only matters if companies give their employees a raise. A raise helps more in the long term unlike a worthless one time bonus check.

He's increased the federal deficit (deficit, not overall debt) to more than $1 trillion. The people he hires keep pleading guilty to federal crimes. He is anti-trade. His immigration policy goes the opposite direction of what we need. He's an immoral ass hat.

liberals do not consider deregulation a good thing.

we think of Enron, we think of AIG, we think of saving and loans scandal, we think of Flint.

so its clear you do not understand liberals, so go back and retry that again

  • One of the lowest unemployment rates in decades (currently around a 3.9%)
    • The unemployment rate has been going down since the beginning of the Obama Administration; although, there are concerns of underemployment and wage stagnation which isn't helpful.
  • Lowest black unemployment rate in the history of America
    • Ever heard that correlation doesn't equal causation? Also, the black unemployment rate has also been dropping since the Obama Administration.
  • Largest tax cut in history
    • Mostly benefiting the wealthiest of Americans...
  • Korean war between North and South is finally over
    • Maybe... I might give you that. However, you should really thank the South Korean president. He was the one pushing for talks. And even then, this doesn't mean North Korea will officially denuclearize without conditions.
  • Appeal of the Affordable Healthcare Act's original mandate
    • Which means more people getting uninsured...
  • ISIS has been destroyed
    • Thanks Obama. IS has been losing territory since 2016 due to a variety of factors: Loss of appeal, bombings, denial of territory, and etc. While some say "Thank Russia," I'd say no since Russia was more about preserving Assad's regime and focusing their efforts on bombing Syrian rebels over IS targets.
  • Trillions of dollars coming back to the US
    • Tax cuts are suspected to increase those deficits...
  • Most deregulation in US history
    • Not always a good thing... Look at Flint.
  • US manufacturing jobs are the highest they have been in years
    • Eh, not really. LINK

Yet the left is trying to impeach him and the Democrat leading the charge is Maxine Waters, one of the most corrupt and racist politicians in America right now.

Because he's potentially corrupt? That he has dealings with an opposing foreign power?

Why is the left still so resistant? Why won't they acknowledge all of the great things he has done for America? I think it is because they thought he was going to fail hard, but instead of failing he has actually lead a very good presidency.

He hasn't... at all... This isn't a left or right thing, he just hasn't been a good president at all. He was never even a good candidate to begin with. He has had a history of anti-labor, sexual assaults, questionable business practices, and his policies have never been clear-cut.

Sorry but those are the facts.

I don't really give Trump a whole lot of credit for that, in my mind he started getting full credit for the economy after the tax cut bill passed last December when the economy was at 4.1%, beyond that it's hard to really say (and I've asked many republicans this) what he did beyond some vague claims about deregulation that can't be shown how exactly they effected things.

  • Largest tax cut in history
Okay, followed by a near equal increase in spending (over a trillion each way) that's blowing up the deficit in the middle of good economic times. Why the hell should I consider that to be an intelligent decision?

  • Korean war between North and South is finally over

I've made clear my feelings on this in a previous thread, but to reiterate Trump has been very light on details of what he and his administration actually did regarding this, and Kim Jong Un says sanctions and Tweets had little to do with why he had the meeting. Now obviously it's difficult to believe anything he says, but then again Trump lies so much that the same goes for him. And again, I will be happy to see a war end between these two countries, I just see Trump trying to grab credit for something he didn't do, which makes sense given who Trump is and how little he has accomplished at home.

  • Repeal of the Affordable Healthcare Act's original mandate
Oh goodie, this made premiums rise even faster.

  • ISIS has been destroyed
No it hasn't, ISIS very much still exists. Who told you they were destroyed? Might want to reconsider that source of information.

  • Trillions of dollars coming back to the US
Link? And are they being used to create more jobs or are companies just buying back their own stock?
  • Most deregulation in US history
Well it worked well for the housing market back in 08 so it's hard to argue against you there.

  • US manufacturing jobs are the highest they have been in years
    Cool, credit given for that.

Your list is a mix of things that aren't actually good things (deregulation), things that started under Obama (economic improvement), and things that Trump hasn't actually done yet (the Korea thing).

He's made it easier for businesses to pollute the water and land and opened up public lands to be bought up by the highest bidders. Only a matter of time until he allows oil companies to drill in the waters off Alaska.

He got that water deregulation through before the focus on how much we pollute the oceans rose, right?

I myself am a liberal, yes. But my rage on Trump is not of a partisan one. He has no decency whatsoever. And he has not made America any better except for white nationalists. More than just liberals hate Trump. Centrists, conservatives (especially classical ones, which lean right like "classical liberals" ala Dave Rubin and Carl Benjamin, much as they deny it despite their support for Trump), etc.

The US could get nuked and Trump will still say he made the country great right in front of a burning White House.

Or he responded to the points made by @mighty-lu-bu in his original post. I did the same thing because the whole point of the the thread was, "Trump did these things, why do liberals still not like him?" So far he's done a really great job of not responding to anyone about any of their responses.

@mighty-lu-bu: trump is a hardcore commie, plain and simple. You're taking credit for Obama's economy, because for the most part it has been just a continuation of Obama. Trump hasn't done anything to boost the economy.

He cut taxes? Those taxes went to the rich. Even though the rich get tons of commie socialist benefits already, that are written into law, ie patents, IP, infinite trademarks, anti free market regulations. On top of that, tax loopholes, deductions, holidays, bush tax cuts, Obama tax cuts and best of all trump tax cuts. The commie handouts just don't stop for these scam artist commies running government.

He pulled out of the Paris Accord. You dumb conjob commies don't understand that pollution has a cost and so does climate change. Not paying those costs is the same thing as passing it down the line to our kids/grandkids and beyond. This is hardcore communist socialism of the highest degree.

There's no cost to plastic pollution. Apparently it's okay by trump if we just dump it all in the ocean so his buddies can earn an extra buck. Of course the future generations will pay for that too.

Funny the leader of the country with the most to lose wants to give him credit but not you.

Black unemployment the lowest ever but hes making it better for white nationalist? Lmao???

Sorry you just sound like a madman.

It may not be nuked now, but what of the future? Especially now that he pulled out of the deal with Iran? I'd rather not live in a real life Fallout. Just because the freaking president of South Korea said it, doesn't make it true.

Again, black unemployment being lower isn't thanks to him. It was thanks to politicians before him. And once again, he is hogging credit.

It won't be long until he makes his own massacre towards rallies/protests of his critics. And what will you say then? That they were all "liberals" and deserved it, just like the favorite celeb (besides Trump) on the right has been calling for, but freely scrutinize any other country doing the same thing?

First of all,

ISIS hasn't been destroyed just yet, they are severely weakened. But they are still around, and most of the credit does NOT go to trump... or Obama, but rather the middle easterners fighting against them as well as Russia.

North Korea and South Korea's peace had NOTHING to do with trump. It had to do with the peace activists found in South Korea, once the corrupt politician got removed this was inevitable.

Many of the things you listed there you give trump credit for when the real credit should go elsewhere.

1. My most important point: Stop saying liberals. He has low polling among independents as well. His approval is 40%. That statistically can not just be liberals.

2. That unemployment rate has been steadily decreasing for years now. Why did the right hate on Obama?

3. The black unemployment rate has been steadily decreasing for years now. Why did the right hate on Obama?

4. The Tax Cuts? https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2018-05-07/wait-before-declaring-trump-s-tax-cuts-a-win

5. Trump didn't end the Korean war.

6. Trump's healthcare plan failed....what?

7. Trump didn't destroy ISIS, and Obama would have been at the same place: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2017/10/25/trumps-claim-that-hes-done-by-far-more-than-obama-in-the-fight-against-isis/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.964dc9dd8061

8. What?

9. Deregulations =/= inherently good. His stance on Climate Change is horrific btw.

10. And it's been increasing for years. Why did the right hate on Obama?

Are you upset most Americans can understand these facts, and give Trump a very low approval?

No, that is yet another of his failures.

The Iran Deal was one of the few good things to come out of Obama. Enjoy seeing Iran with a nuke within a few years.

Neither, but the question we should be asking is, which one are you?

The deal cut off their access to a nuke. And lifted sanctions and returned their money to them.

What goo

  • One of the lowest unemployment rates in decades (currently around a 3.9%) - not the lowest and was going down under the Obama administration for 8 consecutive years.
  • Lowest black unemployment rate in the history of America - again, was going down for 8 consecutive years
  • Largest tax cut in history - which is only liked by conservatives and is already proving to be worse for the economy, the stock market is worse than it was a year ago
  • Korean war between North and South is finally over - but that isn't Trumps doing and Korea still hasn't met with Trump
  • Appeal of the Affordable Healthcare Act's original mandate - only conservatives like this
  • ISIS has been destroyed - Was already dying out since 2015
  • Trillions of dollars coming back to the US - Nice Fox/fake news you have hear
  • Most deregulation in US history - again conservatives love this not liberals
  • US manufacturing jobs are the highest they have been in years - the only thing i can give you, the question is - considering most liberals work in high tech jobs, does this matter other than the deep south

Honestly, most of the things you pointed at are not of interest to liberal, only conservatives and yet you wonder why Liberals don't like Trump.

Lets add another to the list, Trump just got us out of that terrible Iran deal... just keeps getting better and better.

Conservatives live in this weird bubble. They think that their bigoted idologies are somewhat accepted by liberal. We actually wanted the Iran nuclear deal.

In order for you to be claiming achievements it needs to be a bi-partisan issue. Trump has not passed a single law that is bi-partisan.

"Bubble" is putting it lightly.

To be fair the modern right wing has a word for republicans that actually try to be bi-partisan, and reach across the aisle. RINO - Republican In Name Only. So that isn't exactly just a "Trump" issue, he is just the worst example of it so far.

@Maroxad: if you think that Iran deal was "good" then you are either ignorant or stupid- which is it?

Neither, but the question we should be asking is, which one are you?

The deal cut off their access to a nuke. And lifted sanctions and returned their money to them.

So a both ignorant and stupid it is.

First of all, the Iran deal was NEVER and I repeat NEVER approved by the United States Senate. This is 100% unconstitutional and based on this alone Trump's administration has the right to dismiss the deal.

Since it is clearly obvious that you have no idea what you are talking about, let me educate you even further.

Obama and his administration blatantly lied to the American people about the Iran deal. What it boils down to is that the Rouhani led Iran government is nothing more than a group of terrorists and thugs- but let me guess you didn't know that either? Did you also know that the Iran deal did absolutely nothing to curb Iran's terrorist funding? Did you even realize that the deal did nothing to stop Iran's missile programs? Of course you didn't.

The deal has done nothing to stop violence, in fact, Iran has gotten more aggressive and bold since the deal was put into place, but of course you didn't realize that because whoever told you that the Iran deal was good was talking out of their ass.

All the Iran deal has done was temporarily halt Iran's nuclear program which they would have picked up right after the deal expired, but yourself and the other dimwitted GameSpot liberals literally know nothing about nothing. Instead of listening to CNN, which has become the absolute laughing stock of news, perhaps you should get your news from other more reliable sources. I also suggest that you start reading books and stop listening to liberal assholes who have literally no idea what they are talking about.

I mean at this point, it is clear that the left is just hating on Trump just for the sake of hating. Let's take a look at everything he and his administration has accomplished:

  • One of the lowest unemployment rates in decades (currently around a 3.9%)-Thanks, Obama!
  • Lowest black unemployment rate in the history of America-Thanks, Obama!
  • Largest tax cut in history-For the wealthy, the lower classes will see their rates rise over time.
  • Korean war between North and South is finally over-I forgot that Trump's secret superhero identity is Moon Jae-in.
  • Appeal of the Affordable Healthcare Act's original mandate-Hooray for sick people dying!
  • ISIS has been destroyed-Thanks, Obama!
  • Trillions of dollars coming back to the US-Source?
  • Most deregulation in US history-Hooray for lack of workplace safety and a polluted environment!
  • US manufacturing jobs are the highest they have been in years-Thanks, Obama!

Obama actually had one of the highest rates of unemployment in decades, but that is Bush's fault right? I love how uneducated liberals just spew utter nonsense. Again, Obama had a terrible black unemployment rate- but the credit goes to him half way through Trump's first term?

In terms of the tax cuts, you are wrong again, proving your lack of knowledge. Everyone across the board got a tax cut except two groups of people- the people at the lowest bracket stayed at 10%, but people who make over 250k got lumped into the same tax bracket as people who make 400k so their tax rate actually went up and this was the only tax bracket to get increased. So your statement that the tax cuts only benefited the rich are entirely false. Furthermore, when Trump's tax reform was passed, Apple said that it was going to invest over 350 billion dollars into the U.S. economy over the next 5 years and other companies have made similar claims, but the tax cuts are bad right? Wrong. Also, Obama isn't responsible for bringing back more manufacturing jobs to the US, that is all Trump and his administration.

Trump's administration has been adamant about peace talk's with North Korea even though he said that if North Korea attacked us that we would retaliate. Again, Trump and his administration had a major influence in North Koerea's turning point- are you forgetting that South Korea is an ally of ours?

Trumps administration led to the biggest victory against ISIS when we captured Raqqa which was ISIS's capital- so thanks Obama? Hahaha what?! This didn't happen during the Obama administration... it happened 9 months into Trump's presidency. Trump's administration has cut the head off of the snake that was ISIS and now its nothing more than a mere shadow of it's former self and thanks to his administration, the world can sleep better at night.

The appeal of the Affordable Healthcare Act's original mandate doesn't mean that sick people are going to suddenly die, it means that individuals can no longer be fined by the IRS for not having health converge. Your statement into this matter just proves that you don't even know what you are talking about. Also, AHA is a bad thing- all it did was force people who couldn't afford health insurance to begin with to get health insurance and if they didn't they would face a penalty. It has devastated America's healthcare industry and it has raised insurance premiums across the board, but its a good thing?

You also don't realize that less government regulations are a good thing. I don't agree that companies should knowingly pollute our environment, but the current system is in shambles. Agencies like the EPA are an absolute joke and need to not only be abolished, but replaced by real agencies who actually believe in science and do hard unbiased research.

So the big takeaway? You're an uneducated Obama ****rider who will not acknowledge the good that Trump has done. This has nothing to do about his policies, but yourself like most liberals don't like him on a character level and while that is fine and dandy, that doesn't erase the good things that his administration has done for our country. Just because CNN spews some nonsense does not make it true.

Oh god someone please lock this thread. I can have actual discussions with conservatives, there are some good ones here. But this hurts my brain cells. I absolutely loath how much fake crap this thread has.

I like how none of this shit that you smeared all over the computer monitor is actually directly related to the actual substance of the Iran deal.

I also REALLY like how you've totally failed to justify how pulling out of the deal now, after the fact, is somehow a good decision that will make things better.

@PraetorianMan: Trump's speech hit all the key reasons on why we pulled out- go watch the speech. It was a bad deal to begin with. The praises that you sing of it show your ignorance and lack of education. Get smarter, then come find me.

@needhealing: Tell me where I am wrong and we can discuss the individual points, but so far it is the liberals who are delusional. You guys are incapable of acknowledging that the Iran deal was bad from the start and you guys are incapable of acknowledging the good that Trump's administration has done because you despise him on a character level. If you want to talk, lets talk, but don't shut me down simply because you have a different opinion.

Yeah, his speech where he claimed that "we have proof that Iran wasn't following the deal" or something to that effect, but also as of yet NOBODY has actually verified that claim. All that we have to go by so far is the word of a man who openly lied about what the weather was like the day before.

Also it being a bad deal to begin with does NOT explain how pulling out of the deal NOW after the fact is actually a good decision.
