Why did Liberals riot after Trump won, and will they riot again if he's re-elected?

Liberals staged protests which then turned into riots after Trump defeated Hillary in the 2016 election. Most notably Oakland, CA and Portland, OR were the cities with the most violence perpetrated by liberals. Why exactly did this happen and do you think liberals will riot again if Trump is re-elected for a second term?

Link the rioters were liberals. Anyone can join a protest and riot.

Conservatives made up a significant majority (over 90%) of Domestic Terror after Trump was elected in the 2016 election. Further more, hate crimes and hate groups (primarily found in red voting districts) increased after Trump was elected. Why exactly does this extreme violence increase when Trump won? Will it increase further if he wins for a second term?

This is a revenge thread that is near identical to another thread on the first page. With the OP being a near copy of a post he made in that thread. These are usually not allowed.

That being said I'm just giving more examples of political violence for Guy to reflect on. Not excusing Liberal violence.

But if right wingers take the time to point instances like the riots, aren't we allowed to do the same?

That being said, my post was relevant, it's related to political violence. I didn't go full Jeezers and post a Bernie advertisement on healthcare.

Yes, this is a thread made because of the other thread, but that does not change the facts. Leftwingers did far more "rioting" than you and others on the left want to admit. You may call it "protesting" but it´s "rioting" in strict sense.

@Jacanuk:

Aren't there riots in Portland all the time? I thought that's where Antifa have their headquarters.

@LJS9502_basic: Conservatives didn't riot after both of Obama's wins, so why would they riot after their candidate won? Leftists were the ones living out their fantasies of anarchy in the streets, after first crying over Hillary's loss of course. So do you think libs will riot again if Trump wins another term?

You can accuse Trump of a lot but he is not the "divider"

Just look at the sham of a House "impeachment investigation" or the Mueller investigation or the countless leaks upon leaks.

@Jacanuk: Well said. Libs have done nothing but attack Trump for the last 3 years. They've tried every trick in the book to try and remove him from office but fell flat at every turn. It's pathetic how divisive the left is.

@LJS9502_basic: Trump says some funny stuff on social media. No other President has ever been so publicly forthcoming with their true feelings about things and I find it kinda funny how upset libs get over everything he says/does. The blind hate against Trump is troubling and I'm sure we'll never see another potus who is nearly as blunt and real as him.

He's not the dividing force in this country. In fact, quite the opposite. Many Americans from all different parts of society supported him, and still do, including people who were traditionally Democrat, including record numbers of black voters. Way more than Romney or McCain ever got. The dividing force is the ones who cannot handle the outcome of the last election, facing the likelihood that they aren't going to win the next one either.

You've heard clips chopped up and served to you by the media. Or shall we not forget that video CNN edited to make it sound like he was calling Mexicans criminals and rapists? Why would CNN edit a video to make it sound like Trump was saying something he wasn't? Simple, to make people who watch their crap believe it to be true, creating division. Oh, remember when they said big bad meanie Trump was putting children in cages... and then used photographs from before 2017 to prove it? Why would they do that knowing it wasn't true? Again, to divide. And yet, you still believe those things to be true even though you've seen proof that they aren't. And because of that, you're here saying Trump is a divider.

Yeah they will riot, not all of them. but some of them, first it will start off as a big protest, but then the antifa types are going to want to hit people in the head with bike locks, start breaking car windows and storefronts until cops have to come in and throw pepper balls, because its the end of the world cus trump gonna be the end of all. agaaaiiinnn

To be clear, violence is not mutually exclusive to any political party, you can find violence from people all across the political spectrum. But yeah leftists have threw temper tantrums about trump in the past so it would not surprise me if they do it again if he wins 4 more.

Its naive college kids half the time tbh they broke windows and lit fires in Berkeley cus a gay conservative came to give a lecture lol

But me, and most Americans, do not think he should behave like a 12 year old who just constantly makes stuff up (over 14k lies) and uses grade school insults right. Seriously, if any of our children behaved that way we would smack or scold them. If you didn't, you're objectively a bad parent.

You can be blunt and real without literally behaving like a child. Even several GOP members chastise him on this. National polls show time and time again most do not like his 12 year old behavior on Twitter. No one likes that behavior from anyone, much less the president. It's repugnant, and people don't want to hang out with you.

There's no reason to act like a 12 year old on 8Chan or Stormfront. He's still a President.

It might not be intentional, but his words do stoke hate and division. That's a 100% fact. I know this is a fact because hate groups adore the guy and have said so. Specifically for his race policies and statements. There isn't much better proof than that. What's your explanation for this, that they are liberal spies and false flaggers?

Well actually there is better proof, hate crime and hate group statistics for 2016-2020. But hearing it straight from hate groups always shuts up the apologists quicker.

This isn't about thoughts and feelings, it's about fact, and your feelings are not fact. And others have pointed out how one-sided hate crime statistics are, so your numbers are meaningless. The places where you get your information intentionally doctored video and audio in order to guide you towards an opinion that Trump hates minorities. And you're going to tell me they did that because they wanted to be loving and inclusive? Get real.

@zaryia: The majority of "hate and division" comes from the left because they literally hate Trump and his supporters. The right just looks on with disbelief as the left constantly embarrass themselves with the hateful vitriol. Claiming the right are "bigots" all the while calling Trump "orange cheeto", "mushroom dick" and other dehumanizing terms. I admit that some of the insults are kinda funny but still it's childish and anti patriotic to call him names and to even refuse to acknowledge him as the President.

Citation? I see most hate groups in red counties, and an increase in hate groups and hate crimes. Especially in areas where Trump does rallies.

Seems like the opposite from the data.

I see the right do this as well.

That doesn't mean the President has to act like this. Remember all those racial terms against Obama? He didn't start acting like a nutcase.

TLDR: POTUS has no excuse to act like a 12 year old in 8Chan.

People riot when Trump wins. Liberals rioted when he won in protest. Right-wingers rioted because they felt emboldened.

People riot when their home sports team wins. People riot when their home sports team loses.

People just....well, they just riot given a dumb enough of an excuse. Trump is as "good" as any other reason I guess.

I agree liberals can be pretty terrible, but Trump is pretty bad, too.

Literally said, of a guy recently dead, "he is probably looking up at us now" (paraphrased), more or less implying this guy is in hell. This guy wasn't even a bad person nor a particularly hostile opponent of Trump. I mean WTF? I mean let's say you had a neighbor and you got into some dumb argument over his tree encroaching on your property or some shit like that, then you find out he died in a car crash; are you going to go over to his wife and say "sorry your husband died. Ohhh geee golly, I bet he is looking up at us right now from hell". No, you wouldn't.

And who can forget "grab 'em by the p*****"? Classic Trump.

I'm sorry but no matter what the liberals do, and they certainly do a bunch of lame shit, they will never be half as bad as Trump. Trump is more embarrassing, divisive, hateful, and vitriolic than any single person or group of people in the United States. The only people that might be angrier and more full of hate is, I don't know...ISIS?

Hate crimes against whites went up as well. Were those right wingers?

@LJS9502_basic: Trump says some funny stuff on social media. No other President has ever been so publicly forthcoming with their true feelings about things and I find it kinda funny how upset libs get over everything he says/does. The blind hate against Trump is troubling and I'm sure we'll never see another potus who is nearly as blunt and real as him.

this comment right here, same completely agree

Trumps tweets don't go into the group of stormfront or 8chan, trump might say something off colored, blunt, or goofy, but its not like that.. Seriously go to his twitter and share with me any post that's like stormfront or 8chan, You might see Trumps speech as juvenile but its not THATbad, shit is pretty PG tbh. Ive seen you try to link Trump to stormfront several times now and its just super disingenuous and condescending, makes me not take you seriously.

On the flip side of your argument, show me where Trump has been professional in his tweets. I don't go to stormfront or 8chan so I can't make the comparison, but the stuff I see from him on twitter is very comparable to a 12 year old throwing a tantrum.

Zaryia is spot on with that aspect. Meanwhile, I want a president who acts like a president. Trump does not live up to that most of the time.

Be violence either way, not that it exempts it as contemptible, but anyone who thinks the far-left ain't got mentalist nut-jubs like the right looking for gratification through violence in living in lala land. Underneath that veneer of self-righteousness, Probably don't give a shit what side they are on, as long as they feel relevant.

At least if Trump gets elected, it will be funny, and create new salt mines throughout america providing you guys with content for at least 5 years.

@uninspiredcup: Um..., we can say the exact same thing with the UK as well. UK is literally falling apart with post-Briexit and stuff. Will there even be a UK in the future?

@zaryia: The majority of "hate and division" comes from the left

Citation? I see most hate groups in red counties, and an increase in hate groups and hate crimes. Especially in areas where Trump does rallies.

Seems like the opposite from the data.

The right just looks on with disbelief as the left constantly embarrass themselves with the hateful vitriol. Claiming the right are "bigots" all the while calling Trump "orange cheeto", "mushroom dick" and other dehumanizing terms

I see the right do this as well.

That doesn't mean the President has to act like this. Remember all those racial terms against Obama? He didn't start acting like a nutcase.

TLDR: POTUS has no excuse to act like a 12 year old in 8Chan.

No, I do not.

Just to play devil's advocate here but it could be the right attacking the left. You can't say it isn't so it's a moot point.

@mrbojangles25: "Right wingers rioted [when Trump won] *sic* because they felt emboldened."

Liar. Right wingers didn't riot when Trump won, only the leftists did. And you make violent rioting sound harmless like throwing a family picnic or something.

@LJS9502_basic: Charlottesville was tragic but it literally had nothing to do with Trump's election. This thread is asking if liberals will incite violence again if Trump gets re-elected.

Wrong. Read the quote above that I responded to. Charlottesville fits that category. Period.

@LJS9502_basic: I am you said it could be white rightwingers beating up other white people. Sorry but it was a dumb argument on your part.
