Don't want to make fun of him, since I honestly think age related cognitive decline is quite sad.

But the situation is what it is, and the guy has problems currently to read a tele-prompter

If he runs against trump again, trump may gift him another win, just because of how many people hate and fear trump, but if republicans chose a half normal person as a candidate he will loose by a landslide.

Among the democrats, do you think there is any good candidate that will be liked by moderates and independents for the general election?

I can't really think of any (maybe pete buttigieg),

Can anyone think of any?

I thought there were at least five better choices in the primary like Elizabeth Warren, Beto O' Rorke, Andrew Yang, Pete Buttigeig, or even Tulsi Gabbard if she's still interested. (Sanders is too old at this point but I still like him too)

AOC is too extreme for right now, but would probably do well next time America gets fed up with the Establishment again.

Hillary would be hilarious. Now I want a Hillary Vs Trump race. Pretty sure it would be a very close race and whoever loses will be glorious to watch.

The midterms are over and we are already discussing 2024?

Can't we wait until 2024 to discuss that election? It was already annoying when a certain someone (you know who you are) immediately started hyping up the "red wave" in 2020 after Trump lost.

That said, if I would like to see a democratic value it would most likely be someone with the policies of Gavin Newsom. Since establishment and popular support leans towards him, as of now.

Gretchmen Whitmer was another very likely choice to keep the DNC held together. Her success in michigan turning the state completely blue cannot be ignored. She also proved herself successful against a trump nominee.

The easiest, best way for him to step down w/ grace and dignity, and to keep his :legacy" going is to push his VP to run. That seems like a logical step to me.

A guy with the first name of Jesus, which will confuse enough of the American Taliban to guarantee victory. In fact, every Democrat candidate for every office should change their name to either Jesus or Mary...or both.

As much as I want to see a conservative win office, I don’t expect it. And part of me actually wants Dems to win and turn us into a third world country, just to see it all burn down. Out of the ashes and such…

So, if Biden, Harris, Clinton, or whoever wins, then whatever.

You do know the party responsible for declining middle class is the Republicans since Reagan, right?

It's funny to me that the right wingers all want anyone but now Biden to run against their nominee. Sorry, guys, but Biden is running again.

@The_Deepblue: I think that most people think Biden is too old and would rather not have him for a second term, including more than 50% of democrats.

But with Trump around the GoP is like a special needs class right now. So strategically makes sense to keep a traditional candidate like Biden. In many ways Biden is the real conservative when you have the MAGA circus as opposition and that's why the GoP managed to have historically bad results both in the presidentials and now in the mid-terms.

If Biden doesn't die of a heart attack or old age, he will be the partys nominee. He's way too successful not to be.

Yeah, successful in protecting the Saudi royalty from lawsuits over the Khashoggi murder. Biden's support comes from the most vile and corrupt corners of human civilization.

Honestly I'd like to see AOC win. But she would never, and her running would hand it over to the GOP.

Mayor Pete would be my other choice, but again...lot of homophobes out there.

I'd love to see someone of around age 40 (+/- a few years) as POTUS.

I think Gavin Newsom might be the Dem's best bet right now.

Definitely DO NOT let Kamala run.
