Finally its happened, Warren has now passed up Biden in several national polls, the polls in Iowa, and now is pegged by oddmakers as the favorite, giving her a 51% chance of winning the nomination.
Finally, the weaknesses of Biden's campaign, his terrible debate performances, and Trump's impeachable attempt to dig up a false corruption scandal on a VALID ethics issue is finally taking its toll, while the limited appeal of Sanders (and a health scare) is catching up to Sanders.
Her bottom line numbers are even better than her top end. She also leads on second choice, favorability, and enthusiasm for the candidate. She is also starting to pick up moderate and black voters.
And Democrats would actually be smart picking her, as she has advantages on a couple major fronts. Warren fits with the profile of those who win presidential elections in the modern era (Biden DOES NOT), being a charismatic outsider. She can also neutralize Trump if he wants to run on the economy, being an economic expert herself. The best political strategy is not to attack your opponents weaknesses, but to diminish their strength. And Warren is the best equipped to do this. She is also reportedly giving Trump's opposition research team fits. She may be tougher to attack than Biden or Sanders, and definitely Hilary Clinton.
It seems Biden is falling back as well, concentrating more in Super Tuesday than early states. Big mistake, as if Warren wins Iowa, she has the best chance to win the nomination, she captures New Hampshire as well, she will have too much momentum. And you do not give momentum to one that is running the best campaign of the pack.
