“If the Vice President (Mike Pence) had ‘absolutely no right’ to change the Presidential Election results in the Senate, despite fraud and many other irregularities, how come the Democrats and RINO Republicans, like Wacky Susan Collins, are desperately trying to pass legislation that will not allow the Vice President to change the results of the election?”

“Actually, what they are saying, is that Mike Pence did have the right to change the outcome, and they now want to take that right away. Unfortunately, he didn’t exercise that power, he could have overturned the Election!”

In case it wasn't already clear from the events and documentation.

OK, nothing we didn't know.

Still, though; shocking to hear someone say they wanted their vice president to overturn the election because they're a poor loser.

Yet there are still no charges or convictions of anyone doing that and all his lawsuits failed. Even the sham audits failed.

They didn't just fail, they failed spectacularly; actually found like 10 more votes for Biden or something like that.

You'll only get the same old apologetics from conservatives in this forum. They'll fail to acknowledge it, down play it, or claim that we're giving Trump 'airtime', despite him being the obvious front runner for 2024.

I guess it's OK for Kamala to not certify any votes she doesn't like then.

If its matter of who can use which resources to overturn the will of the people instead of vote counting, every election will become an armed conflict, or there wont be any more elections.

Mike Pence: I just want to be left alone at Church, please.

Come on Donald, you're not supposed to admit that in the middle of an investigation. Both because it incriminates you and it leaves investigators bored because they have nothing better to do now🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Yeah, this was already known. Pence had no authority to overturn the election. Just because Donald wants it, doesn't make it so. That's a difficult thing to understand for someone born with a silver spoon in their mouth.

It's comforting to know that the Trump administration put their best minds together, and were still too stupid to pull off a successful coup.

I'd say I'd be surprised, but nothing about Trump surprises me. What is surprising is how few people stood up to him.

In related news, Pence made public today that Trump's claims are pure fiction and that the constitution DOES NOT allow a vice president to overturn an election. Great timing as the RNC also censured Cheney and Kinzinger today for their insistence that 1/6 was an unlawful and despicable event, while publically condemning Trump's and many GOP faithful's involvement.

Fun fact: The RNC reasoned this by saying that 1/6 was 'legitimate political discourse.'

What a cesspool of a party.

@HoolaHoopMan: Cheney and Kinzinger are the absolute scum of the GOP. Absolute swamp monsters.

It gets to a point with both the establishment left and right where they all look the same. The old guard has got to go, get them out, need new blood not these people born into politics.

@HoolaHoopMan: Yeah, members of the GOP, including those here, support the efforts to overthrow the elected government. They're only sorry that they failed.

Same old sycophantic Trump logic. Can't cross the conman without a threat of excommunication from the autocrats.

We're living in a world where they will never accept another Democratic victory, ever. It's all conspiracies for the foreseeable future.
