Trump Continues Attacks on Mueller Team and Claims He's Not Obstructing Justice, He's 'Fighting Back'

The president went on his regularly scheduled twitter rant to attack the special counsel's team of investigators.

Of course the person leading the investigation is actually Robert Mueller, a Republican, who reports to Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein, who was nominated by the President

The President went on to claim that anything he's done is not obstruction of justice, rather it's just fighting back

Even if ultimately an investigation doesn't find a criminal offense, you can still be charged with Obstruction of Justice if you interfere in the investigation

It is a statement of fact that 13 of the 17 people on his team are confirmed to be registered Democrats. However, that in no way means that they are putting politics over a fair investigation, and Mueller himself is still a Republican.

The Republican National Committee paid nearly half a million dollars to a law firm that represents former White House communications director Hope Hicks and others in the Russia investigations, according to a new federal filing.

The RNC's $451,780 payment to Trout Cacheris & Janis adds to the mounting legal fees associated with the investigations by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III and several congressional committees of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign.

Three lawyers at the firm represent people in addition to Hicks in the investigations by Mueller and the House and Senate intelligence committees, according to the firm's website.

Last year, the RNC began tapping a pool of money stockpiled for election recounts and other legal matters to pay the ballooning legal fees of Trump and his associates drawn into the Russia investigations.

Some party officials thought it would be more appropriate to create a separate legal defense fund for the case, The Washington Post reported last year. But RNC officials concluded that it is permissible for the party to pay for the president's legal fees.

Mueller is in a pickle right now. One of the Russian companies he indited has shown up in an American court pleaded not guilty and has demanded to see the information he has that they he used for his indictment. He was not expecting that. Some of the other people involved are likely to cleared including General Flynn. It looks like a lot of them were set up and did nothing wrong,

The Democrats did everything they could to rig the election with the aid of the Obama Administration. They rigged their own primary election. Mueller is a continuation of the rigging because they lost the election.

After thinking about statement I can see some merit. It reminded me of NBC editing a 911 call to make Zimmerman look like a racist. ABC put their banner on the scree so you could not see the injuries he had suffered at the hands of Martin before Zimmerman shot him. Then there was Dan Rafter who used a phony document to attack George W. Bush.
