I saw a notification on my phone this morning that he did exactly that.

Wow just....wow. Sean Hannity has no shame.

"OK the sources were wrong. But Trump is allowed to do that, right?!? Before you can think about it, though, here is a car crash!"

Lets be civil here. (thread in general, not pointing fingers at the people quoted below)

@horgen: @drlostrib:

I don't know why I am still surprised at this point. I guess I just think that people are occasionally jerks, and that most of the time they're good. I should just accept the fact that some people are simply no good, all the time.

@mrbojangles25: You want to believe people are better. Nothing wrong with that.

The behavior of the innocent with nothing to hide, right. No intent to obstruct whatsoever.

So I heard from 4 people close to Trump and Clinton that Trump never actually won the presidency. It´s all a hoax portrayed by Clinton and a space lizard.

And not doing something does not amount to intent or obstruction, you may want to read up on the law.

Trump intended to obstruct, he was only precluded by his lawyer. But yes, let's dismiss that, enabled by ignoring that 1) Trump fired Comey while admitting Russia was the motivation, 2) New York Times has a very reputable reputation, and 3) Trump is a pathological liar so anything he claims is "FAKE NEWS" is 99% credible.

I love how threatening to resign is now standard procedure to stop the President from doing things. Few ways to get through his thick head other than going two DEFCON2 routinely.

First, we have no evidence Trump intended to do anything, the NY Times story is full of hearsay and people who if they exist, heard something and nothing else. Not to mention there is nothing illegal in an intention.

Also what reputation the paper has is pointless to pull up, same goes for whatever you think about Trump, all that is important is 2 things Evidence and a crime. Sure Muller may use the intention if there is evidence, as a pattern towards a possible action in the Comey case. But considering again Muller need to meet a very high standard to prove intent and that firing Comey is Obstruction.

And no nothing Trump claims is false is 99% credible, it´s not even 1%. Again all that matters is actual hard evidence. Before these people and the times present that, this is a nothing burger.

File this away under the title "What if Obama had..."

tried to fire the main investigator into him, and in the same month have it revealed he cheated on his pregnant wife with a porn star.

Nothing Trump claims is false is not even 1% credible? Wrong, we have many examples of Trump lying. Him being a liar we have hard evidence for, and that is not even arguable. So say what you will about the NYT and Mueller bringing in the proof, hide behind it if you must, but as for Trump? Him being a liar is established many times over, so there's no grounds in defense of him based on that.

You seem to miss a few key things here. What again you think about Trump or what "lies" he has said, does not mean anything when we are talking impeachment. The burden of proof in such an instance is high and hearsay and rumours printed in a newspaper with no backing or actual hard evidence does not even come close to meeting even 1%

Again as said previously it´s insane that people on the left, believe anything and common sense and even the foundation of our legal system goes out the window.

You replied to me that my assertion that anything Trump says is 99% bullshit is not even 1%, and now you're attempting to claim that proof and evidence doesn't even constitute 1%. I wasn't talking about evidence, but of Trump's propensity to lie, and anything he says is 99% bullshit. Which it is.

And the only common sense that goes out the window in this case are those people that completely ignore past precedent relevant and that holds bearing on this issue (that being, Trump firing Comey while admitting that Russia was the reason) as well as neglecting to take into account such character that Trump demonstrates. Is it proof? No, but it is evidence, more than 1%, and in fact enough that a special counsel has been appointed to investigate.

So sorry, I don't buy your dismissal as a nothing burger, I'll let the professionals determine that.
