Lol you can't make that shit up. No it's not from "THE ONION"!

BTW The GOP knows these facts. They are doing this for political advantages and voting advantages. It's either that or they are dumb as shit, so which is it?

Trump accuses Twitter of 'interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election' after it fact-checked his false tweets about voting by mail

https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-accuses-twitter-interfering-2020-race-voting-ballot-fact-check-2020-5

President Donald Trump on Tuesday accused Twitter of "interfering" in the 2020 election after it fact-checked two of his tweets pushing conspiracies about voting by mail.

".@Twitter is now interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election," Trump tweeted. "They are saying my statement on Mail-In Ballots, which will lead to massive corruption and fraud, is incorrect, based on fact-checking by Fake News CNN and the Amazon Washington Post ... Twitter is completely stifling FREE SPEECH, and I, as President, will not allow it to happen!"

The president's rant against the social-media platform came after Twitter added links to two of Trump's tweets earlier in the day saying, without evidence, that mail-in ballots in California are "substantially fraudulent" and will result in a "Rigged Election."

"There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent," Trump tweeted. "Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed."

Damn those pesky facts, what a nuisance they are.

If Trump loses, it’s obvious he has no intention of leaving without a fight. Already making a concerted effort to again sow disrepute in our electoral process. I think civil conflict is a serious possibility should he lose the election. I just don’t see him as one to willingly give up his power, there is a reason he is laying this groundwork and building this narrative should the vote not go his way, and he certainly has followers who are so dogmatic, fervent, and who blindly believes everything he says who would gladly pour out into the streets in violence for him.

How crazy the world is right now that the president of the US is such a compulsive liar that you have to fact check his posts on social media.

I've been that way for a long time. I've just come to watch the usual posters defend Trump like their lives depend on him. They tend to sometimes get creative when they're being apologetic...

More nonsense,

Trump threatens social media outlets with regulation, closure after fact check added to tweet

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/499675-trump-threatens-social-media-outlets-with-regulation-closure-after

Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen. We saw what they attempted to do, and failed, in 2016. We can’t let a more sophisticated version of that....

Tucker names three incidents of mass ballot harvesting. He even gives an example of Republicans doing it. But that’s obviously wrong and we’re to trust CNN and WP, right? You can, I’m not.

The Brennan Center for Justice said in 2017 the risk of voting fraud is 0.00004% to 0.0009%.

That's an opinion show.

Several fact checkers agree with CNN and WAPO.

This isn't contestable, Trump was wrong. And then he was fact checked.

@zaryia: An pundit show citing incidents you can easily google.

And no, CNN and WP have been anti-Trump since he announced his candidacy. I give them zero credibility. Both have consistently failed fact checks in their own right.

It's not just CNN and WP fact checkers (Neither of which you can refute, and neither of which are part of their nightly programming).

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/may/20/donald-trump/trump-falsely-claims-michigan-sent-ballots-all-vot/

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/mail-in-ballot-voter-fraud/

https://www.voanews.com/covid-19-pandemic/ap-fact-check-faulty-trump-claims-virus-drug-vote-fraud

Your little opinion show does not refute every single fact checker. Trump was wrong on this. He only wants to stop this type of voting because it's not good for the GOP when more people vote. Even the GOP's internal studies state this.

In fact I'm 100% certain even you agree with the fact checkers (well you have no choice, those are facts). You just know that when more people vote it isn't good for your cul....err.....team.

I'm still waiting on evidence to Trump's claims. The best we get are anecdotes or one offs. There's no statistical evidence to fraud happening. Plus the asshole votes via mail himself.

I think what triggered this was the gut wrenching letter sent straight to their CEO by the widower. Stuff like that can be impactful and result in changes, even if those changes should have happened earlier.

That isn't exactly a bright line rule, especially in the day of these avenues being a virtual public square. This case gave some credence to how access to social media is protected, along with the case of Brian Davison v phyllis Randall which stated public officials are not allowed to block followers/prevent them from accessing their public social media content.

Frankly, given how Trump treats a simple fact check, Twitter could re-write his every tweet and let him know what actual censoring means.

Within a day after the twitter fact check, Trump now says he wants to sign an executive order to combat private tech companies from it. While that in and of itself is unconstitutional, and even disregarding the fact that until now, the GOP has been all about deregulation of private corporations, think about how much better the US would be if he acted within a day when the virus pandemic broke out..

He spent nearly two months being recorded saying that it would blow over, it was a Democrat hoax, the heat would kill it, and it wasn't a big deal. Now the US is leading in accounts of the virus with 100K in American deaths, But when twitter adds a fact check to his account he's up to battle in a day.

He's garbage.

Executive authority can only reach so far, interference into the public square will likely (deservedly so) warrant legal action.

How can an opinion/prediction be fact-checked? That literally makes no sense.

Furthermore, there is evidence of voter fraud in Paterson, NJ.

I didn't state that it was; these things do not exist in a vacuum and the courts must continually evaluate the shifting times.

Neither should we let the false belief that fact checking is the same as censoring. That is not something we can let Trump win.

Executive authority can only reach so far, interference into the public square will likely (deservedly so) warrant legal action.

I'm talking about convincing people of it, not judges and lawyers. Getting Fox News and OAN to back him up on it.

How can an opinion/prediction be fact-checked? That literally makes no sense.

Furthermore, there is evidence of voter fraud in Paterson, NJ.

Trump should be thankful that Twitter hasn't deleted his account by now.

Thankful? The guy has 80.4 million followers. If his account is deleted he'll go somewhere else. Don't act like people wouldn't follow.

Opinion is very easy to fact check depending on the subject. There are people who are of the opinion that the Earth is flat. That is easily fact checked. The verbal diarrhea continuously ejected from Trump's cock holster is also easily fact checked. The GOP has lead multiple investigations into this very subject and have come up empty each time. You would think such rampant (as they put it) voter fraud would be easy to prove. Unless of course, there is nothing to prove.

You lost me right there.

There is scientific evidence that the world is not flat. There is evidence of voter fraud.

Tell me who is on the factual side of things here?
