So we got the MAGA bomber, the Synagogue shooting, the killing of 2 blacks guys in kentucky, and the 50,000 mass shootings in the last 6 years...

The right keeps claiming the left is the side of violence, calling protesters thugs, and a violent mob, when the left only protests, and demands healthcare as a right, living wages, and equal rights for LBGTQ people, and to accept in asylum seekers. All perfectly humane, and peaceful causes.

While the right is against all that, wants power to be put into the hands of corporations, wants all out slavery, wants to kill all jews, and blacks, they all want fascism. The right has blown every single chance they had to prove they were peaceful, but have done nothing but show they are nothing but nazies.

Sorry right wing morons, but you can all go **** yourselves.

Can we stop with this partisan bull**** please? It is the cancer killing politics.

There is plenty of violence on both the extreme ends of the left and on the right. Note that extremism seems to be much more correlated to violence than left or right wing politics.

The vast majority of the violence comes from the right regardless.

Divide and rule is the oldest trick in the book.

It doesn't take much for people to blame their shitty lives on something they have no control over rather than addressing the things that they can control in their own life.

I wish we could, I truly do, but the right is too far gone. They either need to come full circle back to traditional conservative, American values or just die out completely. I hope Trump'ism is their death gasp, their last little outburst, before finally going away.

Maybe some day we will get a third party elected in to the office of POTUS, then the GOP and Dems will actually have to put in some effort.

Yeah, it sailed more than three years ago, too. We've been listening to his pro-violent rhetoric for years.

The thing that really bugs me is how people are amused by this, by this belief that violence is somehow this acceptable thing to do against other people. People should abhor this notion, these jests and boasts. Trump should have lost the election because people, yes even people on the right, were alienated by his attitude.

Trumpism is a cult. And an incoherrent/self-contradictory ideology to boot.

And yeah I wish the right wing would go back to being traditional conservatism like it is in a lot of other places in the world. Did you know that here in sweden, even our right wing parties were hoping for a Hillary win? That is because here, and in many other parts of the world, conservatism actually means small government, something I can't really say for Trumpism.

That said, in regards to terrorism, right wing terrorism has currently caused more fatalities than left wing terrorism overall, while left wing terrorism has caused more fatalities in the past 2 years.

@Maroxad: ‘Did you know that here in sweden’

Why don’t you fix your immigration policies before telling other people how to vote? Your country is on track to become a third world nation by 2030 at the rate you’re going. That’s not right wing propaganda either - that’s straight out of the UN.

The Left is ruining the world.

From your source:

"In 2010 Sweden had the 15th place in the HDI rankings but according to UN forecasts, Sweden will be #25 in 2015, and in 2030 on the 45th place."

Sweden's HDI index as of 2018 is 8th place. Meaning it has improved its position. Not only were the predictions false, but the opposite happened.

Lesson Learnt: Don't use 8(?) year old sources.

The rape statistics that were caused after they changed the definition of Rape? To the point experts have SPECIFICALLY warned not to use the rape statistic as it can be misleading.

Geee... I wonder why *rolls eyes*

Stop grasping for straws.

Edit: For anyone looking for a more intellectually honest view on immigration.

Sweden DID accept too many refugees during the crisis. And refugees do have higher crime rates. However once you factor away socioeconomic classes and such, the crime rates between different ethnic groups becomes rather... low. The issue with immigration is that the country accepted far more refugees than the small country's resources could handle. As a result, many refugees are without employment, and often lack the education and resources to find it, and with nothing better to do, resorting to crime and gang life becomes more common. But I guess this is too much nuance for some people.

But your average muslim... the worst they will do is take offense by some of your traditions and culture. The ones that integrate well don't even do that.

Also what both sides are doing here is using fear to make an argument for their sides political agenda, which is sad.

Except I did debunk it. It is just that you don't wanna accept defeat.

You linked an 8(?) year old source, whose predictions not only completely failed, but the opposite happened from what was forecasted. (This doesnt mean it was a bad estimate at the time, but you dont use old forecasts)

Your second "rape" claim is the same old debunked garbage. The snopes link, says everything you need to know about why it is bad practice to use that data.

The right just wants to be left alone and just work. They mind their own business. They are more mature and have better things to do.

The left are the ones who start mass riots, protests, support punching people, pro censorship and spew constant hate on CNN. It’s just bashing all the time.

The left is the party of hate and you can’t see it because you yourself are blinded by hate. LOL

You don't find it odd that Sweden has so much more rape than Norway and Denmark? Countries so much alike, it is because of history it is defined as three different languages in these 3 countries.

MSNBC does. The rest? Not so much.

NONE of them lean left, MSNBC hated bernie (even threatened to fire Ed Schultz if he even dared to cover Bernie Sanders), and touted Hillary to no end, and Hillary is a hardline conservative republican with a D by her name. Same with Joe Biden, they ALL choose Biden over Bernie. Left wing media outlets would choose Bernie hands down.

Yeah, okay then.

Don't believe me? She didn't even support gay marriage until 2013. She is more economically conservative than even Obama, wanted to keep the status quo of low wages, more job outsourcing, more tax cuts for the rich, making the banks bigger, wanted more war, all the conservative haulmarks you need, and hillary had them.

@Maroxad: Technically Sweden is a third world country. However third world has lost parts of its meaning over the years. It’s more correct to say industrialized and third world country :P

When did Sweden become a third-world country? unless you have an entirely different definition than the rest of the world in Norway, Sweden has never been a third world country.

Sweden like most of the western part of Europe including Norway is a first world country.

First, Second and Third world countries had to do with alliances.

Actually no it doesn´t just have to do with cold-war alliances and also the definition clearly says

"The term "First World" refers to so-called developed, capitalist, industrial countries," and allies of USA, and the UK

Sweden is clearly that, while they remain neutral as to the USA and are not a member of NATO, They are a member of the EU and by that aligned with the UK,

You are correct.

First world does mean Western Bloc and Second World meant Eastern Bloc. Sweden was a part of neither (unlike Norway and Denmark), hence third world.

Nice twist of the definition. But no Horgen is mistaken like you are.

Learn the original definition and what it actually means.

I do and your claim is wrong.

It´s a twist of the actual facts and the actual definition into obscurity.

EU is not a military alliance yet.

Edit: The term came in 1952. Sweden joined EU in 1995. EU is not a military alliance yet, though it will most likely change in the future.

Any neutral country during the cold war is by definition a third world country.

Both sides are pathetic.

You have the Far-Right that hate anyone that is different.

You have the far-left that think "f*ck it, everyone should have everything and there is no resource downsides or bad that can happen from it, as long as you all beleive exactly what we believe and welcome more and more people into a country with limited resources because of fake morals that I wouldn't follow unless peer pressured"

both are cancer.
