This guy VOTED FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ SAYING THERE WAS WMD there which we never found. WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY JOE? You sent in our troops and got some of them killed over there or there missing body parts from IED's.

This guy falls asleep on the debate stage and can't get a sentence out without floundering. HE CAN'T DEBATE TRUMP. His nickname is "sleepy" Joe.

PEOPLE are nervous about Biden we can't have another HILLARY CLINTON vs Trump. We saw what happened last time we got crushed by Trump. YOU NEED PEOPLE ON THE GROUND backing you up, huge crowds like Obama got.

Biden is about to get flooded with cash from anti bernie establishment, the big banks, WALLSTREET, billionaires, health insurance industry, fossil fuels industry there going in on Biden to stop Bernie they don't want even a chance of him becoming president.

What can this guy do that is any different than Hillary? Can anyone see it? Like how is he different? How's he beat Trump?

No way Biden comes even close to beating Trump. But no way the DNC will let Bernie win the nomination either. Biden is going to get destroyed. His record, senility, Burisma scandle, creepiness, and the disgust of how the DNC is acting in this election is going to keep a lot of voters home or send them to third parties. Hillary had a way better chance of beating Trump than Biden will.

The only Democrat that has even hinted at pulling out of Iraq was Tulsi, the rest will follow the status quo.

Ive watched every Democrat debate, they dont even ask about what to do in regards to Iraq, I've seen more questions about giving illegals free healthcare than anything to do with our millitary involvement over seas.

Biden has a track record of having at least some integrity as a politician, whereas Hillary has been seen self-serving for her entire political career with a ton of skeletons in her closet. Joe also comes across as a real person and not a robot.

There is a lot more emotion that goes into voting than people think, or at least like to admit. It's how Obama won with the whole hope, change and yes we can. Also how Trump won by capitalizing on former Obama voters who were demoralized.

@ProtossRushX: given the information at the time, voting in favor of the invasion of Iraq was actually (arguably) the right thing to do.

Hindsight is, as they say, 20/20; it's not fair to criticize people for making a decision that, at the time, was correct even if ultimately it turned out to be the wrong decision.

Just because you're a democrat or even a progressive does not mean you need to be anti-war if the facts at the time indicate you should go to war.

Well, that will all depend on how Bernie lose the nomination

If it´s another Clinton case, where he clearly lost it by million of votes, then Berniebros will not allow their inactiveness to hinder a Biden win against Trump.

If Bernie loses because of a congested convention where Bernie has the most delegates but not enough for a clear majority and they give it to Biden as expected, it will be like throwing a gas truck into a fire.

And we can sit back and watch the fireworks happen :)

It's going to be a clown show. The DNC is worried that America isn't ready to elect a socialist, so the writing's already on the wall for everyone not named Sanders, Tulsi, and Bloomberg to drop out and endorse Biden. Don't be surprised if Warren drops out after Super Tuesday. Bloomberg may even decide to drop out and endorse Biden anyway.

And if Bernie gets the nomination he's still going to earn the endorsements of everyone that threw socialism under the bus just to get Trump out of office.

of course they will. look at the about-face from opponent to lickspittle from people like lindsey graham after trump won. i'm sure you'll see the same from many on the left.

Yup, it will be because everything so far is indicating to a Bernie majority delegate count but not enough for a complete winnerwinnerchickendinner number.

Biden seems to be the middle ground here against Trump and Sanders. I think most people are going to choose the middle ground, especially in this polarized nation. Biden is not a great leader but I think most people can get behind him.

@watercrack445: "So how is Joe Biden any different from Hillary Clinton in 2016 vs Trump?"

Aren't the two situations literally identical?

No, Joe is a mix of liberal and conservative policies. Hillary wasn't like that.

He isn't, and the DNC are going to lose to Trump if they nominate him. Handedly. At least Trump still has awareness, and while he's entirely self-serving, he isn't about 80% towards full-on dementia like Corn Pop. Biden's entire platform so far has been "I was Obama's VP!"

A Buttigieg-Klobuchar ticket would have a better chance against Trump than Biden.

It´s kinda scary that you think Buttigieg who have just been destroyed by Biden in two states, have more of a chance than Biden who just won a state by smashing everyone else in the demographics that is bound to again play a major role in the main election.

Biden has a bigger chance than anyone right now still in the race of beating Trump, the only one who is on his level is Sanders but he has to improve a lot among the minority demographics.

Okay, the Syria pullout was shitshow. Trump gave no warning to anyone, left the Kurds high and dry, Turkey invaded the area, and then Pence and Pompeo had to rush in and try to contain the situation.

Tulsi wants us to end foreign entanglements, but you know, in an organized well planned manner.

Biden has zero chance against Trump. Trump will eviscerate him on the debate stage. The only reason Biden did well in South Carolina is because he was Obama's VP and Obama polls well with the non-Republican black voters of which there is a very high population in SC.

Sanders is literally the only Democratic candidate polling better than Trump in a Trump-vs-X national poll.

Sanders could show up to the DNC rally with 50%+ of the vote and the DNC will still hand the nomination to someone else. They've already admitted they don't care about the votes or the due process of the caucuses, and will do anything to defend their class interests.

It'll mean the death of the DNC as we all know it (which is a good thing) but it'll mean another four years of Trump.

And they'll probably not recover from it in 4 years, same as after Reagan and Bush got in. So you'll probably not see a Democratic president for another 8 years.

It's our fault that another country decided to invade? That sounds like some BS to me. It really irks me when people demand the US "protect its allies" while simultaneously lamenting our constant interventions.

Obama had an organized plan to get us out of Iraq. It took 3 years (he promised 16 months). Then he had a plan to "protect our allies", so we went back for another six years, and didn't leave until a month ago 300,000 iraqis poured into the streets telling us to GTFO. Let's just stop.

African Americans support Biden more than Hillary. Probably because he was Obama's vp. They have a lot of say in who gets elected, since most of them vote Democrat. They didn't really turn out for Hillary, but might for Biden.

Folks I hate to say this but Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden...got a job at MBNA America, a major bank holding company which was also a major contributor to his father's political campaigns.

He only got that job because of his fathers political agenda which helped the bank in policies that Joe Biden voted for. This is disgusting.

Scratch my back I scratch yours, I vote in favor of the banks and you give my son an executive position at a bank paying 100,000 of dollars to him due to no qualifications of his own. Its all about doing favors and back alley deals, and who you know its not about working hard earning your way this kid didn't earn crap for himself.

This GUY IS CORRUPT. JOE BIDEN YOU are not welcome to be a president of the united states of america. Take your bank money and get outa this country.

Both Trump and Dems are professional showmen. TV personalities who are assigned by the Illuminati (the richest 1%) to engage people in fake media wars and thus ruling over them. They are not as stupid as they seem.

Biden has a bigger chance than most left in the race and considering the moderate democrat uproar against Sanders, i think Biden will have a better chance than even Sanders.

And sure Sanders is polling better but you know as well as anyone, that the national generic polls means jack when it comes to winning in an EC system

And remember Sanders does not have the african-American votes.

@jeezers: Unfortunately Tulsi started whining about muh Kurds when we pulled out of Syria, like every other Democrat. That's when she lost me.

Keep in mind, we went back to Iraq because of the Islamic State, which was able to come about due to the chaos in Syria at the time. I agree that Iraq seems to be in a better place right now and we should start gearing up to pull out. What I don't think we should do, is make it a surprise announcement like this is a reality TV show about to go on a commercial break.

As for Turkey, yeah, they were not keeping it secret that they wanted to create a buffer zone in Syria. There should have been some kind of agreement negotiated about that before we pulled out. Instead, Turkey took a bunch of land from the Kurds, and Pompeo came rushing in to negotiate, only to just kind of give approval of the land grab. The Kurds did the majority of the work fighting IS, and their reward was loosing territory to Turkey. We'll see how ready they are to work with us the next time some Jihadist group runs amok.

And it's not like we had a bunch of soldiers in harms way here. There were about 2000 troops playing an advisory role in the region. Trump hadn't made any progress bringing any troops home, so he picked a spot he thought was low hanging fruit. But because he didn't take a moment to really analyse the situation, the whole tree branch came off with the fruit and hit him in the face.

@eoten: you can deny it all you want, but Biden is so much more popular than Trump, and it's not even close.

Trump calls him "Sleepy" Joe and he can't say sentences without messing things up. People are saying he might have dementia. HE CANT WIN dude. Trump is way more powerful this time around we need someone on the ground like bernie.

Neither of them is going to beat Trump. But by all means, keep fighting about it. The finger pointing after the election is going to be even more epic than last time.

@watercrack445: "So how is Joe Biden any different from Hillary Clinton in 2016 vs Trump?"

Your response: "Biden seems to be the middle ground here against Trump and Sanders."

Aren't the two situations literally identical?

No, Joe is a mix of liberal and conservative policies. Hillary wasn't like that.

Policy-wise Clinton was more moderate, in the few places she didn´t just copy Obama, than Biden but she has the charisma of a wet paper towel.

Biden is status-quo and of course a return to Obama policies that do not ruin Biden´s idea of creating his own presidency.
