I really hope certain people in journalism and media aren't shocked when they've recently advocated punching Nazis.... Given that they think anyone that disagrees with them is a Nazi....

Hmmm why didn't the media freak out when a Democrat congressman assaulted a student journalist on video?

CBS, HuffPost, NY Daily News, The Guardian.

Try harder.

1. It was reported by many outlets. You're acting childish and going off topic.

2. It didn't blow up because it wasn't during a heated voting race.

Is "body slam" being used in the literal sense or the media interpretation?

He picked him up by the neck and slammed him on the floor.

Gee, it's almost as if people care about politics and not the drama that these effeminate liberals seem to live for. Who woulda thunk?

They don't care about politics or proper behavior. All they care about is their team.

It doesn't matter what the guy does, he's part of their "team" and these obedient dogs must vote for them. It's thinking like this that has resulted in red states/voters being the poorest and dumbest (on average). Then they go on and continuously vote for the people who keep them in the dump, like the good dogs they are. And the cycle goes on over and over. Then you get the low IQ spawns of these zombie voters to spread this fake infowars/breitbart crap online, like you.

Cancerous party politics.

So he choke slammed the reporter? I'm guessing when video surfaces it will be rather disappointing in terms of the build up.

There were witnesses and one of them was Fox News who reported on the story, as well as an audio recording. Gianforte also apologized for the action.

Neverless, an elected official used violence against a reporter who was asking a question, regardless of how serious or stupid it is.

Is someone denying he had a physical altercation with a reporter? One person says it was a body slam and someone says it was a choke slam. How the hell difficult is it to report what happened in a correct fashion?

We both know why he apologized and it isn't because he feels bad.

Why are we arguing about whether the candidate performed a choke slam or a body slam? Does one of those options make this OK?

This knowledge could be useful in the future :-P

If this happened a week before the election, I think he would have lost. Early voters cast their votes before the incident.
