Soooo....you're saying there is a 'witch hunt' within the administration now? A bitter sweet turn of events for Trump.
Trump should absolutely do this; after all, it's only appropriate that the man who constantly thinks he is the victim of a "witch hunt" eventually conducts one himself.
Not a fan of Trump whatsoever. Think he should resign. But that being said, if you look at this in a theoretical way, it's not good that a member of an administration is taking it upon themself to act unilaterally in this manner. They are substituting their judgement for an elected officials because they think they know better. Granted, with Trumpster fire, they probably do, but it's a terrible precedent. Would we really have been ok with someone in Obama adminstration hiding stuff from him because they believed it was in best interest of country?

Yep, this entire thing is terrifying. I hold no reassurances at all based on the, "you should see what he REALLY wants to do," declarations and the fact that he needs to be babysat so we can avoid the effects of his worst impulses.
Too funny
I dont know why anyone really cares who the person is, or even if its true.
Its not like what was said in the article is not something everyone already knows.
and how out of touch with ones own administration does one have to be to not be able to figure out who it is?

Actually if you read the op ed there is more than one..........
Why do freaking republicans ALWAYS waste taxpayers money?
isnt that every politician?
If the book is completely false as they say then surely there is no reason to go to such measures to figure out who's told an author about it.
The hunt is not for whoever has said something in the book, those are all named which is why someone like Nikki Haley was out and refute some of the statements
They are looking for the anonymous source for the NYT op-ed

Oh, The resistance group within the White House that are carrying out the elaborate operations of removing pages from documents and letters from tables.
Sounds like utter nonsense if you ask me.
