Yup, just like Ronald Reagan's Iran-Contra scandal in the '80s. This isn't something new, but Hezbollah's involvement in the Latin-American drug trade has been going on for decades, at times with the CIA's involvement (which was exposed by the Contra scandal).

There's plenty of proof out there regarding past US foreign policy. There's a large reason why most of south america hates the united states. Our country has overthrown legitimate governments, supported dictatorships because they support our interests, etc. Not making assumptions whatsoever. Obama executed an american citizen with a drone stroke without a trial. That's a known fact, not an assumption. He escalated drone strikes during his presidency. Our foreign policy certainly has been self interested and shady. I will gladly stand by that statement.
It sounds like Obama let one country do its own thing to get a better deal that was in line with our own interests. That's what "America First" looks like.
