Not only can you fail to point out any wrong doing, it also seems to neglect other taxes paid such as property taxes, state income taxes, payroll taxes, etc. So why is NYT leaving out state income taxes, property taxes, payroll taxes, and other taxes business owners pay? The fact they clearly cherry-picked to set up a narrative that he paid so little in taxes overall seems disingenuous at best, if not a ploy to get him to release real ones.

Is this at all surprising given that Trump has, in the past, made policy decisions out of the blue (such as the banning of transgenders to serve in the military) from Twitter that left those in his administration and the generals in the military reeling to catch up to for days after?
