How scared are you of doomsday? Are you collecting your bottle caps and studying up on energy weapons?

I for one welcome the nuclear wasteland. (jk)

I used to think of this as something worth worrying about, but now see it as bs that shouldn't be given a second thought. Not to say we shouldn't worry about nuclear Armageddon as a very real possibility, but the "clock" may as well be a crystal ball reading.

Wasn't it like 7 seconds for most of the Cold War?

90 seconds? Meh, time to kick the feet up on the desk and sip my tea.

Yeah, it's like the whole DEFCON rating. People get all bent out of shape and the press is like "US Governemt to DEFCON 4! Be ready to shit your pants!" and all it means is they're more diligent in intelligence and maybe the bases overseas have increased security.

I voted for giant meteor for president. I am Team Thanos (snap us all!).

Bring on the end. Preferably painlessly and/or quickly.

Thanos would buy us time, not really solve any issues.

I know, I love that debate.

@mrbojangles25: @horgen: Right? Didn't it take us 30 years to go from 4 to 8 billion people? Thanos really didn't put much thought into this.

You know, the Doomsday Clock is quite the fear-mongering.

Yeah something like that. I think we would use more time if we are to do it again though. More of the world is educated now.
