NRA Gives Ajit Pai Courage Under Fire Award For "Saving the Internet"

Apparently the NRA has an odd definition of courage, but they have given FCC Chairmen Ajit Pai the Charlton Heston Courage Under Fire Award for repealing net neutrality

Pai "fought to preserve your free speech rights" as a member of the FCC's Republican minority during the Obama administration, Schneider said. Pai "fought and won against all odds, but the Obama administration had some curveballs and they implemented these regulations to take over the Internet."

"As soon as President Trump came into office, President Trump asked Ajit Pai to liberate the Internet and give it back to you," Schneider added. "Ajit Pai is the most courageous, heroic person that I know."

Though I guess it shouldn't be surprising as other winners of the award include:

Rush Limbaugh, Phyllis Schlafly, Vice President Mike Pence, Roy Innis, and Sheriff David Clarke

In today's highly polarized political environment, you have to declare your allegiance to one party or another. It's kinda like prison, while you might not be a racist, to survive you'd have to throw in with the closest lot (white with aryan brotherhood and hispanics with the cartel gangs etc). Pretty much all lobbying organizations are guilty of it now. Kinda sad considering NRA used to be more apolitical and just focused in promoting gun safety and gun rights. There's a good reason why NRA only has a tiny faction of all US gun owners as members.
