We are 24 hours from the start to the New Hampshire primary. Sanders and Buttigieg seem to be rising while Biden seems to be fading away in NH.

Sanders should always have won New Hampshire. It doesn’t matter even a sniff if that comes to fruition.

The real 3 questions are:

1. Does Pete finish second and does he get close to 20%?
2. Does Biden finish second or is this momentum loss legit?
3. Warren should do well because she’s a northeast democrat, how does she do and doses that result signal the end of her campaign?

But of course, if Warren really is polling that badly, I think the day after the primary would be a great time for her to drop out and endorse Sanders.

By looking at the those polls it looks like rigging Iowa by the DNC had the effect they wanted. Buttgieg is surging in the polls.

I was at the Bernie rally W/ The Strokes last night in NH and it was insane. Police broke up the concert because of all the crowd surfing and Vermin Supreme was in the crowd. No joke. I forsee Bernie winning 27-30% of the vote.

That said the amount of delegates (24) available is negligible at best.

Nice to see Klobuchar and Buttigieg in the top three, and Warren and Biden very far behind.

I am concerned about Sanders being in the top spot.

What I have noticed thus far.

Bernie won the popular vote in both Iowa and New Hampshire. Buttigieg is still so far in the lead. (As so far Buttigieg has as many delegates as Bernie in NH but won 2 more in Iowa)

Regardless Bernie is leading with the base, much like how Trump did. This indicates the US is following a Trend that is quite frankly sweeping the democratic world. Worldwide, we are seeing a massive rise of Populism. Both in left and right wing camps. Here in sweden we are seeing a rise of the populist right Sweden Democrats as well, with the Social Democrats (populist left), being their main competition.

Pick your favorite of the two and campaign for them, phone campaign (can't remember the word right now). The Bernie camp is really active doing this.

It will be interesting to see what happens when we move away from the two vanilla states and get more diverse.

It's "interesting" to me that Sanders has won the popular vote twice now and is in second place delegate wise.

@Master_Live: As I have stated in other threads Bernie is not going to help the Democrats get the presidency. You might sway moderate Democrats to vote for any Democrat but not moderate unhappy Republicans or Independents.

I don't know about not reaching unhappy moderate republicans. Bernie has roughly the same message as Trump which is, "Things are messed up," but his solutions seem to be more constructive than Trump's which largely consists of solutions that don't work (a wall for example) and venting rather than helping.

Same here. That said, I refuse to help the democrats try the strategy that lost them 2016 a second time hoping for different results. Granted, I will vote for whomever becomes the nominee, but my overwhelming feeling is that Trump will beat any of the candidates.

I know you guys are in love with Bernie but much of what he promises is unlikely to occur and he doesn't have any solid policies that will make it happen. He says free and everyone cheers. There is only so much money to take from the middle class. And in total they are the tax base.

Well, Bernie is an independent candidate running on the democratic ticket, but I'm guessing that you won't be acknowledging that right now.

A few years ago I would have argued that Trump isn't really a republican either, but that notion has long since dissipated over the last three years.

He'll whine about popular vote and republicans stealing elections, but won't complain about the super delegates that undermine the voting process for the democrats.

People on the right wants what is best for the country, and that, first and foremost, is not choking out the middle class with a tax burden none of them can afford, and to keep big government out of their lives and pockets. And there is helping those in need, which is fine, but it is not what the left wants. They seek to PUT more people into a position of need because when you need those programs to get through life, they own your vote. People like me want to see more people independent from government.

The welfare system costs too much and there is way too much waste and fraud, it needs to be revamped so those who are truly, and legitimately in need, will be able to be helped. Incentivizing broken families is another thing the welfare programs need to cease. Families shouldn't be punished for having a father in the household, but that's what it does in its current state.
