Moore Spokesperson Tries to Explain Why Muslims Shouldn't Serve in Congress

A Moore spokesperson attempted to explain Moore's comments on why a Muslim should not be able to serve in Congress. He claimed that they would not be ethically able to swear on a bible as is necessary to serve in office. His brain appears to crash when he is informed that there is no law that requires someone to swear on a Christian bible an elected official

Just like a lot of people don't know that all of the "God" stuff was put into our money, motto, and pledge in the 1950s. This is the problem with letting Christianity into the government in such small ways, people are so ignorant, they twist it around.

Then again, we're talking about Moore here. The guy is clearly not merely ignorant, I think he's just straight-up malicious. I know this is one of his spokespeople, but it kind of shocks me that they'd be straight-up ignorant.
